‘Without Cause.’
Isaiah 52:4.
a)
This is what the Lord God says.
b)
The Lord’s People went down at first into
Egypt.
c)
They wanted to get a place for themselves and
reside there.
d)
Then the Assyrians oppressed them and put a
yoke on them.
e)
Without cause.
(This QT reveals
to me that God understands unjust oppression: Without Cause)
‘Just Passing By.’
a)
Acts 16:8. Apostle Paul and his Mission team
passed by Mysia because the Holy Spirit was leading them to other places.
b)
Ruth 4:1. The one who was passing by was
invited to have fellowship.
c)
2 Kings 4:9. Holy men of God pass by regularly
to execute their duties in and around the place of Worship.
d)
2 Kings 6:26. As the King of Israel passed by
a woman cried out to him for assistance.
e)
Matthew 20:30. Jesus was passing by and the
two blind men cried out to Him to have Mercy on them.
f)
Mark 15:29. Many people who despised Jesus
passed by Him and mocked Him as He hung on the Cross.
(Through this Second one I realise that Just Passing By may open
the door for God to be Glorified, His Word to be confirmed and His Promise to
be received)
Chris.
Without cause! We sometimes hear this phrase being spoken,
especially on news reports. Somebody deliberately injures another person without cause. The
rich and powerful people oppress the poor and needy people without cause. The
news broadcast this morning spoke of a soccer player biting another during a
match without cause. Without cause always speaks of injustice and God hates
injustice.
