Happy New Year 2014!

Thank you all who participate in this QT blog! May you know God's Blessing on your lives, families and ministries during this year 2014. Thank you also for your encouraging emails and prayers!
Peace,
Chris.

Living In Blessedness!

‘Living In Blessedness.’
Isaiah 33:16.
a)    In a place that is on the hill.
b)    Made of rock.
c)    A home that is safe and stable.
d)   A place where there is food and drink.
e)    A nourishing and satisfying way to live.
(This QT teaches me what it is like to be Living In Blessedness – and I think that I am now)
---------------
‘A Cruel Way To Keep Them Quiet.’
Exodus 5:9.
a)    The men of Egypt were hard taskmasters.
b)    They wanted the captive Jewish men to do even heavier work.
c)    Then they could not pay attention to anything else.
(This Second one shows me A Cruel Way To Keep Them Quiet)
---------------
Chris.

To be living in a place that is on a hill is a very nice experience. It means that it will be free from floods and all the dirty deposits that floods bring. The home can be very safe and stable. There is something very satisfying about living on a hill. I like it and am very thankful for it!

The Blessings For A Man Of God!

‘The Blessings For A Man Of God.’
Judges 2:8.
a)      Joshua was a Servant of the Lord.
b)     Joshua was a Man of God.
c)      Joshua had a long and fruitful life.
(This QT reveals to me The Blessings For A Man Of God)
-----------
‘Men Of Experience In Doing God’s Will.’
Exodus 7:7.
a)      Moses was eighty years old.
b)      Aaron was eighty three years old.
c)      When they both spoke to and confronted Pharoah.
(Through this Second one I know that I can learn from Men Of Experience In Doing God’s Will)
-----------
Chris.

Men of experience in doing God’s Will are so precious for us - we have many things to learn from them. Many men and women of God who are faithfully serving Him would make far fewer mistakes if they had consulted men of experience in doing God’s Will before they began their ministry or in the early days of it.

God Is Still There!

‘God Is Still There.’
1 Peter 4:12-14.
a)      1 Peter 4:12. We should not think it strange that we experience fiery ordeals.
b)      1 Peter 4:12. These ordeals are sometimes trials for us.
c)      1 Peter 4:12. We wonder why these strange things happen to us.
d)     1 Peter 4:13. We are to Rejoice in that we are sharing in the sufferings of Christ. When His Glory is revealed we will be glad also with exceeding Joy.
e)      1 Peter 4:14. If we are reproached or reviled for the Name of Christ we are Blessed because when this happens the Spirit of Glory and of God rests on us.
(This QT reminds me that God Is Still There)
---------
‘The Children of Amram.’
1 Chronicles 6:3.
a)      Amram means Exalted Nation.
b)      Aaron means High Mountain.
c)      Moses has an interpretation among others that means Deliverer.
d)     Miriam may mean Beloved.
(This Second one shows me the importance of the choice of names for Children by their True Believer Parents: The Children Of Amram)
---------
Chris.
Sometimes we wonder why strange things happen to us – I certainly do and I always look for the answer to my wondering. No one enjoys strange things happening and in those situations we are to look to the Lord. Even if we can find no answers God knows the answers we should trust Him.

The Person Whose Needs Will Be Met!

‘The Person Whose Needs Will Be Met.’
Isaiah 33:14-15.
a)      Walks in Righteousness.
b)      Speaks Uprightness.
c)      Rejects the gain of extortion.
d)     Refuses a bribe.
e)      Stops his or her ears from healing about bloodshed.
f)        Shuts their eyes from seeing evil.
g)      This person will dwell on high.
h)      This person will be well defended.
i)        They will always have enough to eat and drink.
(This QT reveals to me The Person Whose Needs Will Be Met)
--------
‘Then We Can Know The Will Of God.’
Romans 12:2.
a)      We should not be conformed to this World system.
b)      We should be Transformed by the renewing of our mind.
c)      Then we can prove the Will of God that is:-
1-      Good.
2-    Acceptable.
3-    Perfect.
(If we follow this Second one Then We Can Know The Will Of God)
--------
Chris.

One of the desires of the hearts of many True Believers in Asia is that they may know the Will of God and be able to do it. This is of paramount importance to them. This desire is lacking in many Christians of the western Nations. To me it is so refreshing to be amongst truly zealous people. It seems that most of the New Testament Churches were truly zealous people.

A Prayer For Young People!

‘A Prayer For Young People.’
Psalm 78:7-8.
a)     That they might set their confidence in God.
b)      That they will not forget the Works of God.
c)      That they will keep God’s Commandments.
d)     That they will not be stubborn and rebellious following their fathers if their fathers were like that.
e)      That they will make ready their hearts for God.
f)       That their spirit will be Faithful to God.
(This QT teaches me A Prayer For Young People)
-------------
‘Living In The Victory Of Christ.’
2 Corinthians 10:1-5.
a)     2 Corinthians 10:1. This appeal to the Corinthians Church was made in Christ’s:-
1-      Humility.
2-      Meekness.
3-      Gentleness.
b)      2 Corinthians 10:2. Apostle Paul was bold in defending his Ministry in the Holy Spirit.
c)      2 Corinthians 10:3. We live in the flesh but we do not fight the spiritual war in the flesh.
d)     2 Corinthians 10:4. The Weapons of our spiritual warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
e)      2 Corinthians 10:5. This battle is especially for the human mind:-
1-      Casting down proud imaginations.
2-      Casting down all pride that is raised against the knowledge of God.
3-      Bringing our thoughts captive to obedience in Christ.
(This QT calls me to be Living In The Victory Of Christ)
-------------
Chris.

Ministry in and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit should be a vital part of every True Church life. Ministry in the Holy Spirit comes when the Church as a Body of True Believers seeks to be filled with the Holy Spirit to fulfil the Will of God in all parts of Church Life. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit is the working of the Holy Spirit in any situation when we are open to His Work.

This Is How We Should Do It!

‘This Is How We Should Do It.’
1 Peter 4:11.
a)     Speak as the oracles of God.
b)      Serve with the Strength that God provides.
c)      Minister with the virtue that God provides.
d)     Minister so that God is Glorified through Jesus.
e)      To Jesus Christ be Glory and Dominion forever and ever.
(This QT tells me This Is How I Should Do It)
------------
Keeping The Word.’
Joshua 1:8.
a)     Keep the Word of God in our mouths.
b)      Meditate on the Word of God.
c)      Keep the Word of God.
d)     Do the Word of God.
e)      Then we shall:-
1-      Succeed.
2-      Prosper.
3-      Understand everything.
(Through this QT I know that I Should Be Seeking The Word)
------------
Chris.

To Jesus Christ be Glory and Dominion forever and ever. This must be the theme of all that we do in His Name. It is not for us to receive Glory – it all goes to Him. Some Churches are quite strong about their ‘dominion’ teaching. We need to remember that all Dominion belongs to the Lord Jesus.

Only Sinners Need Be Afraid!

‘Only Sinners Need Be Afraid.’
Isaiah 33:13-14.
a)     The people who are far away should hear what God has done.
b)      The people who are nearby know His Might.
c)      Sinners are afraid in Zion. (The place of Worship)
d)     Trembling has seized the godless people.
e)      They ask – Who of us can live with devouring fire?
f)       They ask – Who of us can live with everlasting consuming hearths.
(This QT shows me that Only Sinners Need Be Afraid)
--------
‘Being Led By The Word Of God.’
Psalm 119:97-104.
a)     Psalm 119:97. When we love God’s Word, we meditate on it all the time.
b)      Psalm 119:98. The Commands of the Lord make us wiser than our enemies.
c)      Psalm 119:99. When we meditate on the Lord’s Testimonies we will have great insight.
d)     Psalm 119:100. When we keep God’s Precepts we understand more than merely religious elders.
e)      Psalm 119:101. In order to heed God’s Word we restrain our feet from every evil way.
f)       Psalm 119:102. When God Teaches us we do not turn aside from His Ordinances.
g)      Psalm 119:103. God’s Words are smooth to our palate, more so than honey in our mouths.
h)     Psalm 119:104. From God’s Precepts we get understanding, therefore we hate every false way.
(Through this Second one I want to be Being Led By The Word Of God)
--------
Chris.
Keeping God’s Precepts is surely an important part of the life of a True Believer. A Precept is a commandment, instruction, or order intended as an authoritative rule of action. They prescribe a particular course of action or conduct. Indonesia’s Pancasila foundation means Five Precepts!

Think Of The Future Generation!

‘Think Of The Future Generation.’
Psalm 78:6.
a)     Deuteronomy 11:19. They need to know about the Lord.
b)      Psalm 22:31. We should prepare ourselves – they are not yet born.
c)      Then they will rise up and tell their children.
(This QT makes me Think Of The Future Generation)
----------
‘Those People Entrusted With The Gospel.’
1 Thessalonians 2:4.
a)     Are approved by God for this purpose.
b)      They speak, not to please people, but to please God.
c)      God examines our hearts.
(Through this Second one I Pray for Those People Entrusted With The Gospel)
----------
Chris.
Those people entrusted with the Gospel are people whose whole life is centred on the Spreading of the Gospel. God trusts them to fulfil His Plans in the Strategy of Spreading the Gospel. This is something that is a Biblical Principle… following Jesus. Jesus always did what the Father wanted Him to do – so should we.

How To Use God's Gifts!

‘How To Use God’s Gifts.’
1 Peter 4:10.
a)     We should be good managers of the Gifts God gives to us.
b)      We should use God’s Gifts to serve one another.
c)      We should be good stewards of the Grace of God.
(This QT shows me How To Use God’s Gifts)
---------
‘Pure Exhortation Should Be Free From.’
1 Thessalonians 2:3.
a)     Error.
b)      Impure motives.
c)      Deceit.
d)     Tricking our hearers.
(Through this Second one I know that Pure Exhortation Should Be Free From These Things)
---------
Chris,
Error is something that our Preaching and Teaching, or Words of Exhortation needs to be free from. Error does not make something controversial – it simply makes something wrong and not Biblical. Those of us who Preach and Teach God’s Word should do so from humble and serving hearts, because pride leads us into error and that is wrong.

Have The Fear Of The Lord!

‘Have The Fear Of The Lord.’
Isaiah 33:11-12.
a)     This is what the Lord says.
b)      The people will be pregnant with hay.
c)      The people will give birth to straw.
d)     The people’s breath will be a fire which will burn them up.
e)      The people will be cremated.
f)       The people will be set on fire like dry thorn bushes.
(This QT urges me to have The Fear Of The Lord)
--------
‘They Kept Going.’
1 Thessalonians 2:2.
a)     Apostle Paul and his team suffered and were mistreated in Philippi.
b)      God restored their courage.
c)      So that they could Preach the Good News amid much opposition.
(This Second one encourages me: They Kept Going)
--------
Chris.
What a terrible situation! The people will be pregnant with hay! This was because they did not fear God at all. They went their own way and rejected the Way of God. Until this day the Grace and Forgiveness of God is there for us. Let us not reject His Word and His Will. Let us have the Fear of the Lord.

Pass It On!

‘Pass It On.’
Psalm 78:3-4.
a)     The Fathers passed the Truth down to their children.
b)      This Truth should not be hidden or forgotten.
c)      To the following generations we should show the:-
1-      Praises of the Lord.
2-      Power of the Lord.
3-      Wonderful works of the Lord.
(This QT encourages me to say: Pass It On)
-------
‘The Birth Of Jesus Christ Foretold.’
Micah 5:2.
a)     Bethlehem Ephrathah was to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ.
b)      He was born to be the Ruler in Israel. (The King of the Jews)
c)      He was and is Eternal.
(In this Second one I see The Birth Of Jesus Christ Foretold)
-------
Chris.
Bible Truth should never be hidden or forgotten. We live in awesome days there have been all kinds of things happening in the Churches. Some of these things are good and others are not so good, yet others downright bad! A key fact amongst all that is going on is that Bible Truth should not be hidden or forgotten.

Unusual Miracles!
