‘Jesus Spoke Up For The Children.’
Matthew 21:15-16.
a) The Chief Priests and
Scribes saw the wonderful things that Jesus did.
b) The children cried out in
the Temple.
c) The children were saying “Hosanna
to the Son of David.”
d) The Chief Priests and
Scribes were indignant and displeased.
e) The Chief Priests and
Scribes asked Jesus if He heard what they were saying.
f) Jesus replied in the
affirmative and turned to the Word of God.
g) He reminded them of the
Scripture that said that out of the mouths of babes and infants Thou hast
brought forth perfect Praise.

Matthew 5:7.
a) Merciful people.
b) Will be Blessed.
c) For they shall obtain
Mercy.
(Through this Second one I desire to be a Merciful Person)

The Chief Priests and Scribes asked Jesus if He heard what the
children were saying. That is a ridiculous question! Of course Jesus heard and
knew what they were saying. Sometimes in our Prayers we are like the Chief Priests,
we are asking the Lord if He knows this or that, if He cares, has He heard and
similar things. Let us Trust the Lord rather than doubt Him.
