‘Jesus Loved And Blessed The Little Children.’
Mark 10:13-16.
a)
Mark 10:13. They brought young children to
Jesus so that He should touch them.
b)
Mark 10:13. The Disciples rebuked and spoke
sternly to the people who brought their children.
c)
Mark 10:14. When Jesus saw this He was much
displeased. He told His Disciples that they:-
1-
Should let the little
children come to Him.
2-
Should not stop the little
children.
3-
Are the ones to whom the
Kingdom of God belongs.
d)
Mark 10:15. Jesus said that whoever does not
receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall never enter it.
e)
Mark 10:16. Then Jesus:-
1-
Took the little children up
in His Arms.
2-
Put His Hands upon them.
3-
Blessed them.

‘Elijah And The Word Of The Lord.’
1 Kings 17:8.
a)
The Word of the Lord.
b)
Came.
c)
To Elijah.
d)
This Word was speaking some clear direction to
him.

The people brought their children to Jesus. These people
obviously loved their children and obviously wanted Jesus to Bless their
children. The Disciples of Jesus could not understand this, they were Teachers,
Healers and Assistants to Jesus in His Ministry. To them children who were not
their own were not important. Jesus had a different concept, that actually the
children were very important and He Blessed them.
