A Different Source!

 ‘A Different Source.’

John 1:17.

a)  For the Law was given through Moses;

b)   Grace and Truth  came

c)  Through Jesus Christ.

(This QT causes me ro give Thanks to Jesus Christ, through Whom Grace and Truth have come)

PRAY: Giving Thanks to Jesus Christ for Grace and Truth.

---

‘Ask In Prayer.’

Matthew 7:7.

a)  Ask,

b) And it will be given to you;

c)  Seek, and you will find;

d)  Knock,

e)  And it will be opened to you.

(This Second one encourages me to Ask In Prayer)

PRAY: Asking in Faith.

---

Chris.

Ask ... And it will be given to you. These Words of Jesus Christ are so "faith inspiring"! Our problem is that we do not simply ask. We get complicated as we walk along the Christian pathway. Complication is never the Will of God for us! We need to get back to the basics in our relationship with God. The way to do this is by following the Words of Jesus Christ.

The Warped Divisive Person!

'The Warped Divisive Person.'

Titus 3:11.

a)  Kowing that such a person is warped

b)  And sinful;

c)  He is self-condemned.

(This QT reveals to me The Warped Divisive Person)

PRAY: For Warped Divisive People to keep away from the Churches.

----------------

'The Stewardship From God.'

a)  1 Corinthians 9:17. For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with a stewardship.

b)  Ephesians 3:2. Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's Grace that was given to me for you.

c)  Colossians 1:25. Of which I became a Minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the Word of God fully known.

d)  1 Timothy 1:4. Nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by Faith.

(This Second one reminds me that The Stewardship From God is important)

PRAY: To be able to use our will correctly.

-------------------

Chris.

God's Grace given to us for others and on behalf of others is always a stewardship. In other words we need to be very careful how we handle God's Grace and our relationships with other people. From its origins in the New Testament, the Church was always a body of people and not just a group of individuals.

Real Friendship With Jesus!

'Real Friendship With Jesus.'

John 15:14.

a)  You are

b)  My friends,

c)  If you do

d)  What I command you.

(This QT reveals what Real Friendship With Jesus means)

PRAY:  For Real Friendship With Jesus.

---------------

'God Sent His Son Into The World.'

John 3:17.

a)  For God sent not His Son into the World

b)  To judge the World,

c)  But that the World should be Saved

d)  Through Him.

(This Second one teaches me why God Sent His Son Into The World)

PRAY: To be Saved through Jesus Christ if you have not already done so.

---------------

Chris.

I cannot over-emphasize this! The clear presentation of the Gospel as written in John's Gospel is enough for anyone who reads it to be able to come to Christ. The word "Gospel" means "Good News"! As we humbly respond to this Good News, we can come to know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

Amazing Grace Upon Grace!

'Amazing Grace Upon Grace.'

John 1:16.

a)  Out of His Fullness we have all received Grace

b)  In pace of Grace

c)  Already given.

(This QT makes me so grateful for Amazing Grace Upon Grace)

PRAY: To appreciate God's Amazing Grace.

-------------

'A Wonderful Heavenly Future.'

Revelation 21:4.

a)  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

b)  There will be no more:

1-Death.

2-Mourning.

3-Crying.

4-Pain.

c)  For the old order of things has passed away.

(Through this Second one I look forward to A Wonderful Heavenly Future)

PRAY: For daily trust in God.

-------------

Chris.

Death is something that is not just physical, it can be spiritual and emotional too. The Gift of God through Jesus Christ is Eternal Life. Jesus Christ is our "Life-Giver"! If we are True Believers, we really need to concentrate on this fact - Jesus Christ is our "Life-Giver". Let us receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior! We can then live out the kind of life on this Earth that He wants us to live.

A Divisive Person!

'A Divisive Person.'

Titus 3:10.

a)  Warn a divisive person once,

b)  Then warn them  a second time.

c)  After that,

d)  Have nothing to do with them.

(This QT informs me how to deal with A Divisive Person)

PRAY: For your Church to be free from Divisive Persons.

------------

'The Way Of Possible Reconciliation.'

Matthew 18:15-17.

a)  If your brother sins against you

b)  Go and confront him privately.

c)  If he listens to you,

d)  You have won your brother over.

e)  But, if he will not listen

f)  Take one or two others along,

g)  So that every matter

h)  May be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

(Through this Second one I find The Way Of Possible Reconciliation)

PRAY: To have Reconciliation where necessary and possible.

------------

Chris,

Reconciliation between True Believers is a very wonderful thing. It can restore Peace to the heart and joy in the Fellowship. Where it is possible, reconciliation should always be chosen rather than conflict. In order for there to be an effective reconciliation the parties involved in the dispute need to become good listeners and then peace can be restored.

Jesus Christ Himself Set The Standard!

'Jesus Christ Himself Set The Standard.'

John 15:13.

a)  Greater love has no one than this,

b)  That someone,

c)  Lay down his life for his friends.

(This QT sets the standard: Jesus Christ Himself Sets The Standard)

PRAY: To truly follow the example of Jesus Christ.

-----------

'A Necessity If Our Prayers Are To Be Answered.'

Mark 11:25.

a)  And whenever you stand praying,

b)  Forgive,

c)  If you have anything against anyone;

d)  So that your Father, also, Who is in Heaven,

e)  May forgive you your trespasses,

(This Second one reveals A Necessity If Our Prayers Are To Be Answered)

PRAY: Forgiving other people if you have anything against them.

-----------

Chris.

Notice here that Jesus encouraged the people to stand praying! Not to sit or to lie down, but to stand. This posture of standing really helps us to be alert in our prayers and also to sit down and be quiet when we have finished praying. Even if there are many people in the prayer meeting or prayer time, it can be an orderly and God glorifying experience.

John Bore Witness About Christ!

 'John Bore Witness About Christ.'

John 1:15.

a)  John bore witness about Him,

b)  And cried out,

c)  "This was He of Whom I said:

d)  " 'He Who comes after me ranks before me,

e)  "Because He was before me.

(This QT reveals to me that John Bore Witness About Christ)

PRAY: To bear witness about Christ.

----------

'Glory.'

a)  Matthew 4:8. The Kingdoms of the World have glory.

b)  Matthew 16:27; Mark 8:38. For the Son of Man is going to come with His Angels in the Glory of His Father, and then He will repay each person according to what he has done.

c)  Matthew 24:30. Then will appear in Heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the Earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven with power and great Glory.

d)  Matthew 25:31. When the Son of Man comes in His Glory, and all the Angels with Him, then He will sit on His Glorious Throne.

e)  Luke 2:9. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the Glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear.

f)  John 12:43. For they loved the glory that comes from man than the glory that comes from God.

g)  John 17:22 & 24. The Glory that You have given Me, I have given to them.

h)  Acts 7:55. But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into Heaven and saw the Glory of God.

j)  Ephesians 3:16. That according to the riches of His Glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being.

k)  Ephesians 3;21, To Him be Glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

o)  2 Thessalonians 2:14. To this end He called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

p)  Hebrews 2:7 & 9. You made Him for a little while lower than the angels; You have crowned Him with Glory and Honour.

q)  1 Peter 5:4. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of Glory.

(This Second one calls me to give God the Glory in all ways and things)

PRAY: To give to God all the Glory.

-----------

Chris.

The Gospel has the Power to call people to Christ and to serve Christ. It is truly a Wonderful way that God has given to us ... the Gospel Way! If we are True Believers in Christ, then we will have a desire to Glorify Him, both individually and along with other True Believers. Please pray for an effective witness for the Godpel to be established in the location where we may live or work.

What To Avoid!

'What To Avoid.'

Titus 3:9.

a)  But avoid:

1-Foolish disputes.

2-Genealogies.

3-Contentions.

4-Striving about the Law.

b)  These things

c)  Are unprofitable and useless.

(This QT teaches me What To Avoid)

PRAY: For Wisdom and Faith to do the right things.

---------

'They Were Desperate.'

a)  Matthew 2:18. Rachel.

b)  Matthew 8:5. The Centurion.

c)  Mark 6:56; 7:32; 8:22. The sick people.

d)  Acts 9:38. The Lydda Disciples.

(This Second one shows that They Were Desperate)

PRAY: For the Desperate People to have their needs met in every way.

---------

Chris.

Rachel is a very lovely Bible name. I am Blessed when I read of Believers who give their children good Bible names. This is a very meaningful action and will surely cause the children in a good Christian family to think about their lives. There are so many good and meaningful Bible Names that it should not be necessary for True Believers to look for secular names for their children.

A Lovely Commandment!

'A Lovely Commandment.'

John 15:12

a)   "This is My Command:

b)   "Love one another

c)  "As I have loved you."

(This QT reveals A Lovely Commandment)

PRAY: For the Holy Spirit to pour the Love of God into our hearts.

--------

'An Obvious Choice.'

Isaiah 56v4.

a)  For thus saith the Lord:

b)  "Unto the eunuchs that keep My Sabbaths,

c)  "And choose the things that please Me,

d)  "And take hold of My Covenant;"

(Through this Second one I find An Obvious Church)

PRAY: To choose the things that please the Lord.

---------

Chris,

It is always very good for us, and beneficial, to respond to what the Lord says! This is a very safe policy for every True Believer. When we do this we are being wise! I am very sure that the Lord wants to speak to His People. He is a good communicator. We should follow Him well and seek to please Him!

Jesus Is Full Of Grace And Truth!

'Jesus Is Full Of Grace And Truth.'

John 1:14.

a)  And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us,

b)  And we have seen His Glory,

c)  Glory as of the Only Son from the Father,

d)  Full of Grace and Truth.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Is Full Of Grace And Truth)

PRAY: To understand more of the character of the Lord Jesus.

------

'The Great Mystery Of Godliness,'

1 Timothy 3:16.

a)  Great indeed,

b)  We confess,

c)  Is the Mystery of Godliness:

d)  He was manifested in the flesh,

e)  Vindicated by the Spirit,

f)  Seen by angels,

g)  Proclaimed among the Nations.

h)  Believed on in the World,

i)  Taken up in Glory.

(This Second one reveals a part of The Great Mystery Of Godliness)

PRAY: To understand more about The Great Mystery Of Godliness,

------

Chris.

the Great Mystery of Godliness was seen by angels! This Great Mystery of Godliness is none other than our Lord - Jesus Christ! From a Biblical point of view, we can have a complete trust and confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ! He is truly alll that the Scriptures say that He is. We should always trust him first. Let us daily come to our lord Jesus Christ - trusting Him!

A Trustworthy Saying!

'A Trustworthy Saying.'

Titus 3:8.

a)  This statement is trustworthy;

b)  And concerning these things I want you to speak confidently;

c)  So that those who have believed God

d)  Will be careful to engage in good deeds.

e)  These things are good and beneficial for people.

(This QT reveals A Trustworthy Saying)

PRAY: To Believe in and Serve God well.

-----

'The Fruitful Church.'

Titus 3:14.

a)  And our people must also learn

b)  To devote themselves to good works

c)  In order to meet the pressing needs of others,

d)  So that they will not be unfruitful.

(This Second one gives me the desire to be in The Fruitful Church)

PRAY: For your Church to be Fruitful.

-----

Chris.

The Church should be a place of learning, not only theological learning, but also lifestyle learning! Paul's words are a little strong here... "our people MUST also learn. The same learning is very necessary today! We are living in a selfish age, where, for many, self comes first. This means that many people just get left behind! May our Churches be fruitful for the Glory of God! As per the picture - sometimes the good deeds of the Church include feeding people!

To Give Us Fullness Of Joy!

'To Give Us Fullness Of Joy.'

John 15:11,

a)  These things I have spoken to you,

b)  That My Joy may remain in you,

c)  And that your joy may be full.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus wants To Give Us Fullness Of Joy)

PRAY:  To have Fullness Of Joy.

----

'The Loving Heart Of God Is Active.'

Jeremiah 32:41.

a)  Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good.

b)  And I will assuredly plant hem in this land,

c)  Wit h all My Heart

d)  And with all My Soul.

(In this Second one I find that The Loving Heart Of God Is Active)

PRAY: To experience personally that The Loving Heart Of God Is Active.

----

Chris.

Some Believers avoid reading from, and Ministers avoid Teaching and Preaching from, the Bible Book of Jeremiah. This is surely a mistake! Jeremiah contains wonderful and remarkable Truths that we need to read and understand! We can read in Jeremiah that the Lord will Rejoice over His People to do them good. It is evident in this Book of Jeremiah that the Lord cares for and loves His People. We need to learn to love Him and obey Him, this puts us in a good position in our relationship with Him.

Children Of God!

 'Children Of God.'

John 1:13.

a)  Who were born,

b)  Not of blood,

c)  Nor of the will of the flesh,

d)  Nor of the will of man,

e)  But of God.

(This QT defines for me who are The Children Of God)

PRAY: To have the assurance of being Born of God if you do not have it already.

---

'Born Again.'

1 Peter 1:23.

a)  For you have been born again,

b)  Not of perishable seed,

c)  But of imperishable,

d)  Through the Living and Enduring Word of God.

(Through this Second one I Thank God that I am Born Again!)

PRAY: To be Born Again if you are not already,

---

Chris.

The person who is truly "Born Again" has a deep and confident assurance about it. Being "Born Again" is something that the New Testament emphasizes. If we have this "Born Again" experience it is easy for us to have good fellowship with other people of the same belief and experience.

A Wonderful And Powerful Scripture!

 'A Wonderful And Powerful Scripture!'

Titus 3:7.

a)  So that being Justified by His Grace

b)  We might become heirs

c)  According to the Hope of Eternal Life.

(This QT presents A Wonderful And Powerful Scripture)

PRAY: To have the Hope of Eternal Life.

----------------

'We Should Not Follow Amaziah.'

2 Chronicles 25:2.

a)  Amaziah did

b)  What was  pleasing in the Lord's Sight,

c)  But not wholeheartedly.

(This Second one teaches me that I should not follow Amaziah)

PRAY: To follow Jesus well!

----------------

Chris.

There are many human examples for us in the Scriptures. Some of them are good and others bad! Here is Amaziah, he is not a good Follower of the Lord. It seemed outwardly that he was a good follower of the Lord but the Scriptures tell us otherwise. True Believers should endeavour to be good followers of the Lord.

Abiding In The Love Of Christ!

'The Way To Abide In The Love Of Christ.'

John 15:10.

a)  If you keep My Commandments,

b)  You will abide in My Love

c)  Just as I have kept My Father's Commandments

d)  And abide in His Love.

(This QT teaches me the way To Abide In The Love Of Christ)

PRAY:  To abide well in The Love Of Christ.

--------------

'A Clear Distinction.'

John 3:36.

a)  Whoever believes in the Son has Eternal Life;

b)  Whoever does nor obey the Son shall not see life

c)  But the wrath of God remains on him.

(This Second one presents A Clear Distinction)

PRAY: To Believe in and Obey The Son Of God.

---------------

Chris.

This Second one reveals a clear distinction between the person who believes in the Son of God and the person who does not obey the Son of God. We should note here that believing on the Son of God and obeying Him are linked. If we believe in the Son of God ... we should be obeying Him.

The Action That We Need To Take!

'The Action That We Need To Take.'

John 1:12.

a)  But as many as received Him,

b)  To them

c)  Gave He power

d)  To become the sons of God,

e)  Even to them who believe on His Name.

(This QT reveals The Action That We Need To Take)

PRAY: For Faith to take The Action That We Need To Take.

-----------

'Pray To Our Heavenly Father.'

Matthew 6:9.

a)  Pray, then,

b)  In this way:

c)  "Our Father,

d)  "Who is in Heaven,

e)  Hallowed be Your Name.

(This Second one encourages me to Pray To Our Heavenly Father)

PRAY: To our Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ.

-----------

Chris.

If Jesus told His Disciples to Pray, He also tells us in this generation to Pray! Not only does He tell us to Pray but He also instructs us in the form of Prayer - which should be to our Heavenly Father. This Teaching of Jesus was very clear: "In this way" He instructed. Let us closely follow the Teachings of Jesus about Prayer.

A Wonderful Outpouring!

 ' A Wonderful Outpouring,'

Titus 3:6.

a)  The Holy Spirit

b)  Whom He richly poured out upon us

c)  Through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

(This QT shows me A Wonderful Outpouring)

PRAY: To experience A Wonderful Outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our lives.

----------

'The World System Hates Jesus Christ.'

John 7:7.

a)  The World cannot hate you

b)  But it hates Me

c)  Because I testify about it

d)  That its works are evil.

(This Second one makes me realise that The World System Hates Jesus Christ)

PRAY: To side with the Lord and not with the World System.

----------

Chris.

As we continue to ponder in John's Gospel, we find these clear Words and Teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord. This kind of pondering can only be beneficial for us. When I was a child therre used to be a game called "Simon says", basically, the last person to sit down was "out", they could not continue in the game! When we take the side of the Lord, we are in a very safe place. Let us continually follow and obey Him!

b)  So I have loved you.

c)  Abide in My Love.

(This QT reminds me to Abide In Christ's Love)

(Through this Second one I find that They Loved Them.)

PRAY: For excellent and caring Leaders for your Church and Nation.

-------

Chris.

God the Father loved Jesus Christ/ I find that this is the only example of God's Perfect Love in the Bible. We can learn so much about Love from observing and experiencing God's Perfect Love. This Love of God should stimulate us to love God and other people well. We should not take the Love of God for granted/

A Terrible Rejection!

 .'A Terrible Rejection.'

John 1:11.

a)  He came to His Own,

b)  And His Own people

c)  Did not receive Him.

(Through this QT I find A Terrible Rejection)

PRAY: To receive Christ well.

------

'A Meaningful Process.'

Acts 7:7.

a)  And the Nation to whom they shall be in bondage

b)  Will I judge,

c)  Said God:

d)  After that,

e)  They will leave that country

f)  And Worship Me here.

(This Second One reveals to me A Meaningful Process)

PRAY: To be a part of A Meaningful Process.

------

Chris.

God is still a Judge and that is a part of His Eternal Character! His is ultimate Authority. We can leave all judgments concerning people to God. When we start to judge other people it is easy for us to end up in bitterness, we should not do it! Simply following god's Will and Word is really the best way for us. Jesus said that His Yoke is easy and His Burden is light.

Not By Works Of Righteousness!

''Not By Works of Righteousness.'

Titus 3:5.

a)  Not by works of righteousness which we have done,

b)  But according to His Mercy He saved us,

c)  By the washing of Regeneration,

d)  And renewing of the Holy Spirit.

(This QT reminds me that it is Not By Works Of Righteousness that we are Saved)

PRAY: To have a clear understanding of Salvation.

-----

'Be Calmly Prepared For It.'

2 Timothy 3:12.

a)  Yes,

b)  And all that will live godly

d)  In Christ Jesus

d)  Shall suffer persecution.

(This Second one calls me to Be Calmly Prepared For It)

PRAY: To be calmly and quietly prepared for persecution - it may possibly come.

-----

Chris.

It can only do us all good if we read through Apostle Paul's latters to Timothy again. Reading and inwardly digesting these letters can only prepare us and help us to be more able to live the Life of Faith. We all have different environments in which we live, it is necessary for us to live in victory whatever our environment and for us to be praying for and encouraging others.

Desire To Be Fruitful!

'Desire To Be Fruitful!'

a)  Whatever is born of God overcomes the world.

b)  And this is the victory that has overcome the World -

c)  Our faith.

(This Second one shows to me How To Know Those Born Of God)

PRAY: To be Born Of God - if you are not already so.

---

Chris.

It should never be difficult for a person truly Born Of God to identify other people who are also Born Of God. This has been so since the days of the early Church. Even if they are complete strangers to us, when we meet other True Believers then fellowship with them can flow well. Two things we should do about Fellowship - Pray for it and participate in it!

The Unrecognised Christ!

'

The Unrecognized Christ.'

John 1:10.

a)  He was in thte World,

b)  And though the World was made through Him.

c)  The World did not recognize Him.

m)  2 Peter 3:6. The ancient World perished by flood.

 n)  1 John 2:15. We are not to love the World System.

(This Second one helps me to understand more about The Worls)

PRAY: For those people around us in family and Church to live in victory over the World System.

-----------------------------

Chris.

We need to be crucified to the World system, which means every type of lust and pride and we need to walk humbly with God. I think that I have found Peace because I have found Christ. The Words of Jesus Christ: "No person can come to the Father except through Me." Finding Christ and being found by Him is the very beginning of the real Christian "Walk"! When I see this picture of the fish, I am reminded how Jesus Christ fed His Disciples.

Chris.

Apostle Paul wrote about the kinds of things that happened to him during his ministry time for the Lord. This is something that all established ministers could do. It is something that would help new and young ministers. These kinds of lessons are not just geographically for one place but are useful to learn for everywhere.

Chris.

When the Word of God is in our heart it has a positive and purifying effect on our lives! If we love the Lord, then we will surely love His Word. Faith is not primarily an experience, it is a response to the Word of God. Every true Believer needs to prioritize keeping the Word of God in their heart. We live by the Grace of God and the Word of God.
