The Church Is One Body!

‘The Church Is One Body.’
1 Corinthians 12:12-27.
a) 1 Corinthians 12:12. One Body of many members with Christ as the Head.
b) 1 Corinthians 12:13. It is the Working of the Holy Spirit that makes us One Body.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:14-17. There are many members in the Body with different functions.
d) 1 Corinthians 12:18. God has set the members in the Body as it has pleased Him.
e) 1 Corinthians 12:19-23. Every part and member of the Body is necessary.
f) 1 Corinthians 12:24-25. God is the Composer of the Body and He composed it so that it may be without schism.
g) 1 Corinthians 12:26. If one member suffers, all other members suffer with it. If one member rejoices, all other members rejoice with it.
h) 1 Corinthians 12:27. We are the Body of Christ – individual members of it.
(This QT makes me very sure that The Church Is One Body)
---------------------------
‘Jesus Christ Practically Loved People Who Did Not Know Him.’
John 9:25.
a) The man did not know whether Jesus was a sinner or not. He had no idea Who Jesus was.
b) The one thing that the man was very sure of.
c) He used to be blind.
d) But after encountering Jesus – he sees.
(This Second one should encourage every missionary: Jesus Christ Practically Loved People Who Did Not Know Him)
---------------------------
Chris.
Jesus Christ practically loved people who did not know Him. This is a lesson we all need to learn. Of course He loves His Church – He gave Himself for it. Also He loves the people outside the Church – people who do not yet know Him. Here is a challenge for the Church. How to reach the people outside in the most effective and suitable ways? There are so many very good tools for effective evangelism that the Church can use.

The Balance!

‘The Balance.’
a) Proverbs 16:11; Job 31:6. A just balance is the Lords.
b) Leviticus 25:27. Should always be refunded.
c) Deuteronomy 28:66; Psalm 119:109. It is good that our life does not hang in it.
d) Psalm 62:9. Determines what a person really is.
e) Proverbs 11:1; 20:23. A false one is an abomination to the Lord.
f) Isaiah 40:12. The Lord weighs the hills on them.
(This QT reminds me of how the Lord sees the reality of The Balance)
--------------------------
‘Life Fellowship.’
1 John 1:2-3.
a) Eternal Life is manifested to us through Jesus Christ.
b) Is centred in the declaration of the Truth.
c) Is the mutual fellowship shared by True Believers.
d) Is fellowship with the Father.
e) Is fellowship with Jesus Christ.
(This Second one calls me into Life Fellowship)
--------------------------
Chris.
The balance should always be refunded. I am surprised at some of the murky dealings of Church people. If we do not pay back what owe or even refund the balance honestly, that is stealing and in front of God is abhorrent behaviour.

Living As Believers In The Faith!

‘Living As Believers In The Faith.’
a) Hebrews 11:1. Faith is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.
b) Hebrews 11:6. Without Faith it is impossible to please God.
c) Jude 1:3. We need to contend for the Faith that has been entrusted to us.
d) 2 Timothy 4:7. We need to keep the Faith.
e) 2 Corinthians 13:5. We are to examine ourselves to see if our Faith is really genuine.
(This QT causes me to check out if I am Living As A Believer In The Faith)
-------------------------
‘We Need To Be Good Builders.’
a) Ephesians 6:11-12. We need to put on the whole armour of God so that we can stand against the wiles of Satan as we build.
b) Nehemiah 4:2-3. Sometimes enemies try to discourage us from building.
c) Nehemiah 4:10; Genesis 49:10. Sometimes people very close to us who should know better try to discourage us from building.
d) 1 Corinthians 3:10-15. We can only build on the Rock – Jesus Christ.
e) Psalm 127:1. We need to be building together with the Lord, otherwise the building is all in vain.
f) Romans 7:18. We need to totally Trust in God as we build.
g) Zechariah 4:16. All that we can achieve is by the Spirit of the Lord.
h) 2 Peter 1:5-8. We need to grow in our Christian character as we co-labour with Christ.
(Through this Second one I am reminded that I Need To Be A Good Builder)
-------------------------
Chris.
All too often I hear of Church people “examining” other people through their gossip, this ought not to be. The Bible exhorts us to examine ourselves. We are to examine ourselves to check that our Faith is really genuine. We are also to examine ourselves before we take the Holy Communion to make sure that we are spiritually in the correct condition to take it.

(This QT really shows me that It Is God’s Will and not mine)
------------------------
‘If We Love God.’
a) John 14:15; 1 John 5:3. We will keep the commandments of Jesus.
b) Micah 6:8. We will:-
1- Do Justly.
2- Love Mercy.
3- Walk humbly with God.
c) Psalm 112:1. We will fear the Lord and delight greatly in His Commandments.
d) Romans 5:5; Luke 11:13. We will be filled with the Holy Spirit and have Hope.
e) Hebrews 12:28. We will serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
f) Romans 8:15. We will cry out to Him: “Abba, Father.”
g) Romans 8:16. We will have confidence that we are His Children.
(This Second one is a good check for me to see from the Bible If I Love God)
------------------------
Chris.
God wants us to have Hope. Hope cannot be turned on like water from a tap Hope is something that God Creates in us by the Working of the Holy Spirit. God is called: “The God Of Hope” in the Bible so for the True Believer there is always Hope.

The National Ruler!

‘The National Ruler.’
a) Proverbs 16:10. Must speak with Divine Wisdom and Judge fairly.
b) Proverbs 29:4. Must be fair to the poor people.
c) Ecclesiastes 10:16. Must be mature.

(Through this QT I pray for the National Ruler of the Republic of Korea where we live now)
-----------------------
‘Growing Through Teaching Of The Word.’
a) Hebrews 5:11. The Hebrew Church needed to be taught because they were spiritually dull.
b) Hebrews 5:12. Although the Hebrew Christians should have been serving other people but they could not. They still needed to be taught basic things.
c) Hebrews 5:13. The Hebrew Christians did not know how to apply God’s Word to their lives.
d) Hebrews 5:14. The Hebrew Christians could not naturally or spiritually discern.
e) Hebrews 6:1. The Hebrew Christians needed to become mature in their understanding.
f) Hebrews 6:2-3. The Hebrew Christians needed to move forward through the teaching of God’s Word.
g) Colossians 2:8. We need to be taught so that we will not be led astray by false teachers.
h) Galatians 4:9. We need to be taught so that we do not go back into slavery in the World system.
i) Acts 20:21. The evident need for teaching:-
1-Turn from sin.
2-Turn to God.
3-Romans 10:17. Have Faith in our Lord Jesus.
j) 1 Corinthians 3:1-5. We need to be taught so that we can grow out of immature quarreling in the Church.
k) 1 Peter 2:2. We need to grow into the fullness of our Salvation.
l) 2 Peter 1:5-8. We need to know and apply the Promises of God to our behavioural life.
(Through this Second one I know that I should be Growing Through Teaching Of The Word of God and helping other Believers to grow too)
-----------------------
Chris.
We all need to be growing through Teaching of the Word of God. This is one of the very important parts of the Early Church life and should also be a part of our lives. The Ministry of Teacher in the Church is sometimes neglected in these days but it is a very necessary Ministry. If the Senior Pastor is not anointed and gifted as a Teacher then the Local Church should bring in either visiting Teachers or a Teaching Pastor to help the people grow in the Lord under the care of the Senior Pastor.

A Good Result!

‘A Good Result.’
Psalm 34:5.
a) Look to the Lord.
b) We will become Radiant and Enlightened.
c) Our faces shall not be covered with shame.
(Through this QT I find A Good Result)
----------------------
‘As Seeing Him Who Is Invisible.’
Hebrews 11:27.
a) We have Faith to obey Him.
b) We are not afraid of other people who could harm us.
c) We can endure.
(This Second one also Leads my focus to the Lord: As Seeing Him Who Is Invisible)
----------------------
Chris.
Faith is needed if we are going to make the often heard encouragement to “look to the Lord” possible. This is because the Lord is invisible. Faith looks to Him through His Word and by His Promises. Let us keep on looking to the Lord.

The Corinthian Gifts Of The Holy Spirit!

‘The Corinthian Gifts Of The Holy Spirit.’
1 Corinthians 12:8-10.
a) 1 Corinthians 12:8. The Gift of the Word of Wisdom. (A manifestation of the Wisdom of God when that Wisdom is needed in a specific situation) This is not mere human wisdom.
b) 1 Corinthians 12:8. The Gift of the Word of Knowledge. (A manifestation of the Knowledge of God when that Knowledge is needed about a certain situation) This is not mere human knowledge.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:9. The Gift of Faith. (This is special Faith that is needed to exercise the Gifts of the Holy Spirit) This is not regular Faith.
d) 1 Corinthians 12:9. The Gift of Healing. (This is better translated Gifts of Healings)
e) 1 Corinthians 12:10. The Gift of Miracles. (This is better translated Gifts of Miracles)
f) 1 Corinthians 12:10; 14:3. The Gift of Prophecy. The Biblical sphere of Prophecy is:-
1-Edification.
2-Exhortation.
3-Comfort.
g) 1 Corinthians 12:10. The Gift of Discerning of Spirits. (This is not discerning human character but whether some spiritual manifestation is from evil, human or Holy Spirit. This Gift is better translated as Gift of Discernings of Spirits)
h) 1 Corinthians 12:10. The Gift of Speaking in Unknown Languages. This gift means the language is unknown to the speaker. There are three aspects of this Gift:-
1-Us to God. This is personal and there is no need for interpretation.
2-God to the Church, spoken as a Message in the gathering of Believers and should be followed by the Gift of Interpretation of Unknown Languages or Tongues.
3-The speaker gives a Message in a language that the speaker does not understand but the listeners can understand.
(The word “tongues” is an old English word for languages)
i) 1 Corinthians 12:10. The Gift to Interpret the The Gift of Speaking in Unknown Languages.
(This QT rejuvenates my thirst for The Corinthian Gifts Of The Holy Spirit)
----------------------
‘The Life Of The Early Church.’
Acts 2:42-47.
a) Acts 2:42. There was a joining together of the Believers for these purposes:-
1-Bible Study.
2-Fellowship.
3-Breaking of Bread.
4-Prayers.
b) Acts 2:43. In the Church there was:-
1-A sense of awe.
2-Manifestation of Signs.
3-Manifestation of Wonders.
c) Acts 2:44. There was a constant meeting together of the Believers and real sharing with each other.
d) Acts 2:45. The Church helped the people in need.
e) Acts 2:46. The Church Worshipped together daily.
f) Acts 2:46. The Church met in homes for the Lord’s Supper. (This was a fellowship meal that would also include Holy Communion)
g) Acts 2:46. The Church shared their meals with great Joy and Generosity.
h) Acts 2:47. They were Praising God all the time and enjoying the good will of the people.
i) Acts 2:47. The Lord added to their group those people who were being Saved.
(This Second one has me in awe at The Life Of The Early Church)
----------------------
Chris.
There is frequent abuse of the Gift of Unknown Languages, especially when used mistakenly by individuals amongst other people when there is no one present with the Gift of Interpretation. In Prayer, when an individual prays in private to God using the Gift of Unknown Languages that is fine. In the local Church prayer meeting, when the Church prays together using the Gifts of Unknown Languages it is also acceptable. The local Church prayer meeting is exclusively for Believers. Some people flagrantly and strangely speak with Unknown Languages in front of other people, this is abuse and I doubt if it is the Gift of God which has Biblical boundaries. It most probably is from their own flesh or maybe even from Satan.

Humanity Really Needs God!

‘Humanity Really Needs God.’
a) Proverbs 16:9. We make our plans and we use reason to make them. If we are True Believers we want to make plans that please God. Yet we are still subject to the Direction and Dominion of our Creator God. He will direct our steps by His Spirit.
b) James 4:14-15. We need to be very aware of the Sovereign Lord’s Will and intervention in our lives.
c) 1 Thessalonians 3:11. We need to pray for what we Believe is God’s Will.
d) 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. Transformation takes place in our lives as a Work of the Holy Spirit.
(Through this QT I know that Humanity Really Needs God)
---------------------
‘We Should Keep Our Eyes On Jesus.’
Matthew 14:29-30.
a) When Jesus calls us to come we should simply do that.
b) We should not focus on the things around us that create fear in our hearts.
c) If our focus is wrong we begin to sink. We will not be able to achieve the call of the Lord Jesus.
d) If we cry out to Jesus to save us in those difficult situations surely He Will save us.
(This Second one reminds me that I Should Keep My Eyes On Jesus)
---------------------
Chris.
There is no such thing as Faith without Prayer. Faith without Prayer is mere presumption. There are many Christian people who talk much about Faith but if that Faith is not grounded on the Word of God and birthed in Prayer it is not Faith at all.

After Receiving Christ As Lord!

‘After Receiving Christ As Lord.’
Colossians 2:6-7.
a) Continue to live in Him.
b) Be rooted in Him.
c) Be built up in Him.
d) Be strengthened in the Faith as we were taught.
e) Overflow with thankfulness.
(This QT clearly reveals to me what to do After Receiving Christ As Lord)
--------------------
‘Victory In Our Daily Life As A True Believer.’
a) Mark 4:19. Victory over:-
1-The cares of this life.
2-The lure of wealth.
3-The desire for nice things.
b) Nehemiah 4:1-3. Victory over people who despise us.
c) Nehemiah 4:4-5 & 9. Victory through specific Prayer.
d) Nehemiah 4:6. Victory by working together with like minded people well.
e) Nehemiah 4:7-8. Victory over the enemy’s anger and attempts to create confusion.
f) Ephesians 6:11-12. To have this victory we need to put on our Spiritual Armour.
g) Luke 22:63; 23:35; John 15:18. Victory over the enemy mocking us through other people.
h) Matthew 10:24; Numbers 14:27 & 36. Victory over rebellious people who attempt to usurp our authority.
i) Nehemiah 3:5; Exodus 12:38; Numbers 11:4. Victory in handling other people who have a different mind to those people who are in the Will of God.
j) Exodus 16:8. Victory over complainers.
k) 1 Peter 2:23; Isaiah 53:7; John 19:30. Victory through keeping a Christ like attitude.
(This Second one helps me to have Victory In My Daily Life As A True Believer)
--------------------
Chris.
We are encouraged as True Believers to overflow with thankfulness. For some of us this is easier than others. If we lose our Biblical perspectives in the fog of cultural perspectives or the fire of political perspectives we easily fall into a negative mind. Let us keep our Biblical perspectives and overflow with thankfulness.

To Every True Believer!

‘To Every True Believer.’
1 Corinthians 12:4-7.
a) 1 Corinthians 12:4. There are diversities of Grace Gifts but the same Holy Spirit.
b) 1 Corinthians 12:5. There are different ministries but the same Lord.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:6. There are different operations but the same God Who is working all in all.

f) Job 17:7; Psalm 31:9; 88:9. Sometimes are swollen with weeping.
g) Job 31:1. Can be made a covenant with.
h) Job 31:7. Sometimes lead our heart.
i) Psalm 6:7. May grow weak with sorrow.
j) Psalm 13:3. We can ask the Lord to enlighten them.
k) Psalm 25:15; 141:8. Should ever be toward the Lord.
l) Psalm 26:3. Can behold the steadfast Love of the Lord.
m) Psalm 54:7; 92:11. Will look in triumph on our foes.
n) Psalm 101:6. Should be on the Faithful people in the Land.
o) Psalm 119:6. Should be fixed on all of the Lord’s Commandments.
p) Psalm 119:18. Can be open to see the wonderful Truths of the Word of God.
q) Psalm 131:1. Should not be haughty.
r) John 9:30. Can be healed by the Lord.
(This Second one causes me to give thanks to the Lord for My Eyes)
-------------------
Chris.
Who we watch really influences our behaviour. If we are True Believers and we are constantly watching bad people or bad things this can make our heart, thinking and speech so negative. Let us look to people also who can have a positive influence on our lives.

Ephesians 4:18.
a) They cannot understand Him because they are in the dark.
b) They are alienated from the Life of God because of their ignorance.
c) Their hearts are blind.
(This Second one stimulates my prayer for People Who Do Not Yet Know Jesus)
------------------
Chris.
The Righteousness that we receive from God as a part of our Salvation is a weapon. We can overcome all false guilt and condemning memories from the past by this Righteousness. We are made Righteous by the Blood of Jesus and our sins are forgiven. Praise the Lord!

(This Second shows me why They Did Not Listen)
-----------------
Chris.
There is a way for all of us in which we should go. This way is revealed to us and taught to us by the Lord through His Word and by His Spirit. As the old song says we need to Trust Him and Obey Him.

Spiritual Purity!

‘Spiritual Purity.’
1 Corinthians 12:1-3.
a) 1 Corinthians 12:1. Apostle Paul wanted the Corinthian Church to be free from their ignorance about the Holy Spirit and His Gifts. Their background was really deep in evil spirits and Paul did not want these influences to harm the Church.
b) 1 Corinthians 12:2. As non-believers the Corinthians were “led” by their spirits into idolatrous religion. We always need to test people who claim to be “led”. The test is the Truth of God’s Word in context.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:3. No person speaking by the Holy Spirit can say that Jesus Christ is anathema and no one can say that Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Spirit.
(Through this QT I can clearly see the need for Spiritual Purity)
----------------
‘Our Most Important Life Choice.’
a) Joshua 23:3. We have seen all that the Lord has done for us and how even sometimes He has fought for us.
b) Joshua 23:16. We are not to violate the Covenant that the Lord has made with us.
c) Joshua 24:15. The important life choice is the choice to serve the Lord.
d) John 3:18. Before we serve Him we need to Believe in Him.
(This Second one reminds me of My Most Important Life Choice)
----------------
Chris.
The Lord has done amazing things for all of us if we would take time to consider Him and His doing. He has made a Covenant with us through the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ. We need to remember and keep our part of this Covenant.

Our Living And Loving Lord!

e) Proverbs 16:6. By fearing Him people depart from evil.
f) Proverbs 16:7. When people’s ways are pleasing to Him He makes their enemies to be at peace with them.
(This QT gives me confidence in My Living And Loving Lord)
----------------
‘Overcoming Fear And Insecurity.’
We can see from the Scripture that Moses overcame fear and insecurity. If we are True Believers, we can too.
a) Exodus 3:11. Who am I that I should go? Moses had very low thoughts about himself.
b) Exodus 3:13. What shall I say to them? Moses had doubts and fears about his ability to bring God’s Message.

d) Exodus 4:10. Moses protested at not being able to speak well.
e) Exodus 4:13. Moses asked God to send someone else.
f) Even though Moses had this fear and insecurity eventually he went and God Blessed and worked through Him.
(Through this Second one I know that all True Believers can be Overcoming Fear And Insecurity)
----------------
Chris.
One of the biggest fears that comes to our heart is the fear that people will not believe the Message that we bring them in the Name of the Lord. This fear causes us not to Trust God. The Truth is this: It is not our job to make people Believe, we simply give them the Message. It is God that Creates Faith – not us.

c) Isaiah 11:9. Evil and destruction will go away from God’s Holy Mountain.
d) Isaiah 11:9. The Earth will be filled with the Knowledge of Jehovah just as the waters cover the sea.
(This QT reminds me of happenings In Times Ahead)
---------------

a) Matthew 6:26. Feeds the birds.
b) Matthew 5:16. Will be praised when our good deeds in His Name shine.

g) 1 Peter 1:17. Has no favourites.
(This Second one makes me appreciate My Heavenly Father)
---------------
Chris.
God’s Holy Mountain was a place of Worship and a place from which His Word came forth. Every gathering of True Believers should be on God’s Holy Mountain whatever land they are in. The Church should function as God’s Holy Mountain.

s) 1 Corinthians 14:35; 1 Timothy 3:4-5 & 12. For husbands and fathers to pastor their families.
t) Hebrews 11:7. We live in obeying God.
(Through this QT I know that Home Is The Place)
---------------
‘King Saul’s First Task.’
1 Samuel 15:1-3.
a) 1 Samuel 15:1. After the Anointing for Kingship from Prophet Samuel Saul needed to listen. Are we prepared to listen when God wants us to listen?
b) 1 Samuel 15:2. God had something against the proud Amalekites.
c) 1 Samuel 15:3. Saul’s task: Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don't spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.
(This Second one challenges me: King Saul’s First Task)
---------------
Chris.
We often talk so glibly about “the anointing” without understanding what it is all about. When God anoints people it was always for a purpose – we are anointed to do what God wants us to do. We are not to seek the anointing but rather what God wants us to do. As we obey God – He will give us the necessary anointing.

Lord Please Help Us Answer Well!

‘Take A Sabbath.’
Exodus 20:10.
And give it also to:-
a) Our family.
b) Our servants.
c) Our animals.
d) Any stranger or foreigner around us.
(This Second one reminds me that it is God Who says “Take A Sabbath”)
--------------
Chris.
The Lord enables us to speak clearly. This is very important for every one of God’s Messengers to understand. The ability to speak clearly is from the Lord and not from our own eloquence. How important it is to pray before giving God’s Message to other people.

Faith To Do What The Lord Says!

‘Faith To Do What The Lord Says.’
Exodus 4:4.
a) The Lord said to Moses. This was the Word of the Lord.
b) Put forth your hand and take the snake by the tail. (This is something one should never do because the head can turn around and bite)
c) Moses put forth his hand and caught the snake, just as the Lord told him to.
d) The snake became a rod in Moses’ hand.
(Through this QT I realise my need of Faith To Do What The Lord Says)
-------------
‘Abel.’
a) Genesis 4:3-5. Brought an offering to God which He accepted.
b) Genesis 4:8-9. Was murdered by his jealous brother Cain.

f) Hebrews 11:4. He brought his offering to God by Faith.
(This Second one shows me something of the life and death of Abel)
-------------
Chris.
Moses put forth his hand and caught the snake by the tail. This was perfect obedience to God. The Bible tells us that Moses was the most humble man who walked on the Earth. Humble people are also obedient to God.

Understand The Holy Communion!

‘Understand The Holy Communion.’
1 Corinthians 11:23-33.
a) 1 Corinthians 11:23. This is Teaching from the Lord Himself, Apostle Paul is just passing it on.
b) 1 Corinthians 11:23. The first Holy Communion was taken on the night when Jesus was betrayed.
c) 1 Corinthians 11:23-24. Jesus Christ:-
1-Took a loaf of bread.
2-Gave thanks for it.
3-Broke it.
4-Said that this bread was His Body which was given for us, we eat it in remembrance of Him.
d) 1 Corinthians 11:25. In the same way the Lord Jesus took the cup of wine after supper. He said that the cup was the New Covenant between God and us, sealed by the shedding of His Blood. We are to partake the cup in remembrance of Christ every time we partake of it.
e) 1 Corinthians 11:26. Every time that we eat the bread and drink the wine we are announcing the Lord’s Death until He Comes.
f) 1 Corinthians 11:27. So if anyone eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily, that person is guilty of sinning against the Body and the Blood of the Lord.
g) 1 Corinthians 11:28. We need to examine ourselves before eating the bread and drinking the cup.
h) 1 Corinthians 11:29. If we eat the bread or drink the cup unworthily we are not honouring the Body of Christ. We eat and drink God’s Judgment upon ourselves.
i) 1 Corinthians 11:30. The result of eating or drinking the bread and wine unworthily is that some people:-
1-Are weak.
2-Are sick.
3-Die.
j) 1 Corinthians 11:31. If we examine ourselves, we will not be examined by God and judged in this way.
k) 1 Corinthians 11:32. When we are judged and disciplined by the Lord, we will not be condemned with the world.
l) 1 Corinthians 11:33. When we gather for the Lord’s supper our good manners are important.
(This QT helps me to Understand The Holy Communion)
------------
‘The Great Love Of Father God.’
a) 1 John 3:1. God our Father:-
1-Loves us very much.
2-Allows us to be called His Children.
3-Is not known by people of the World system.
b) Titus 2:11. Is revealed through His Grace, bringing Salvation to all peoples.
c) 1 John 4:16. Causes us to Trust God.
d) 1 John 4:18-19. Removes every fear.
(Through this Second one I am so grateful for The Great Love Of Father God)
------------
Chris.
The taking of the Holy Communion is more than habit. The taking of the Holy Communion is a very reverent part of Worship. It begins with self examination before we partake. If we examine ourselves then we will not be judged by the Lord. Let us enjoy that part of Worship that is called Holy Communion.

e) Proverbs 22:4. Together with the Fear of the Lord leads to:-
1- Riches.
2- Honour.
3- Long life.

------------
‘Their Need To Be Clothed.’
a) Genesis 3:21. God made Adam and Eve coverings of animal skin to cover their bodies because they knew they were naked and became ashamed.
b) Genesis 3:7. At first they tried to deal with the shame their way. It did not work.
c) Hebrews 9:22. God knew that the covering had to be made of animal skin because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. We need the Blood of Jesus to deal with our sin and shame.
(Through this Second one I fully understand Their Need To Be Clothed)
------------
Chris.
So often we waste time, joy and energy by trying to deal with our sin and shame in our own ways. This is never going to deal with the problem because we are still left in guilt and shame in our conscience. No, the only way is by and through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

God Is Still Working In Us!

‘God Is Still Working In Us.’
a) Hebrews 12:5. The Heavenly Father sometimes disciplines us and corrects us.
b) Hebrews 12:6. It is because He Loves us.

e) 1 Corinthians 15:33. Bad company corrupts good morals. Bad company hinders rebuilding.
f) 2 Corinthians 6:14. We should not team up with non believers.
g) Deuteronomy 33:12. We should be as and be with people as the family of Benjamin:-
1-Loved by the Lord.
2-Living in safety by the Lord.
3-Surrounded continuously by the Lord.
4-Preserved by the Lord from every harm.
h) Proverbs 10:19; James 3:6. We should not talk too much.
i) 1 Corinthians 3:11. We should rebuild on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
j) 1 Timothy 6:5. Exclude trouble makers from the rebuilding process until the repent – pray for them and wait.
k) Mark 4:19. We cannot rebuild if we are not fruitful.
(This Second one shows me principles for Rebuilding – Self, Family or Church)
-----------
Chris.
Some people are able very easily to comfort other people, the comfort just flows through them from God and the people in need of comfort are so Blessed. Others of us need to learn to comfort other people with the comfort which we have received from God. Yes, we need to learn it. This means that God wants all of us to be able to comfort other people and this is possible because God is the God of all comfort.

A Church Meal Gone Wrong!

‘A Church Meal Gone Wrong.’
1 Corinthians 11:20-22.
a) 1 Corinthians 11:20. The members brought their divisions into the fellowship meal. Their minds were not on the Lord’s Supper at all.
b) 1 Corinthians 11:21. Some people bring much food and enjoy it just with their friends whilst other people went hungry. There was abuse of wine, some people were taking too much.
c) 1 Corinthians 11:22. Apostle Paul’s strong correction:-
1- It is better to go home and eat at home.
2- It is very low behaviour to desecrate God’s Church.
3- Those who had enough were shaming God’s poor people.
4- Paul could not believe that their behaviour was so bad.
5- That is why he spoke up.
(This QT teaches me about A Church Meal Gone Wrong, the Church needs to handle their social activities carefully and well, it is all in the Lord’s Name and for His Glory)
----------
‘Facts About The First Man.’
Genesis 2:18-20.
a) Genesis 2:18. It was not good for him to be alone, he needed a companion.
b) Genesis 2:19-20. God brought all His Created Beings to the First Man for him to name them.
c) Genesis 2:20. Still the First Man could not find a suitable companion.
(Through this Second one, Facts About The First Man, I am so grateful to God for His action in Creating Eve from the rib of Adam)
----------
Chris.
The Book of Genesis is the book of beginnings, it is so important for the True Believer to read this particular Book of the Bible to really discover more about God, His Personality and His Heart.

Listen To Criticism!

‘Listen To Criticism.’
Proverbs 15:31-32.
a) If we listen to constructive criticism we will be at home among the wise people.
b) If we reject criticism, we only harm ourselves.
c) If we listen to correction we grow in understanding.
(This QT encourages me to Listen To Criticism)

c) Genesis 1:22. God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.
d) Genesis 1:23. It was the evening and morning of the fifth day. Please note that the evening began the next day, not the morning.
e) Genesis 1:24-25. God Created the beasts on the earth by His Word.
f) Genesis 1:25. Again God saw that what He had made was good.
g) Genesis 1:26-27. God made mankind in His Image. He Created both male and female. He Created them to have dominion over all the other creatures of His Creation.
h) Genesis 1:28. God Blessed the male and female and said to them: “ Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
(In this Second one I can find Mankind’s Dominion)
---------
Chris.
When God made mankind He made us to have dominion over all other creatures. This dominion was lost at the fall (when Adam and Eve sinned). The word “dominion” should no longer be used in the vocabulary of the True Believer in whatever context.

3- Our Helper.
4- Our Deliverer.
5- Our Saviour.
d) Psalm 84:1-4. Dwelling in His House.
(This Second clearly tells me to Wait For The Lord)
--------
Chris.
Our lives are continually before the Lord. There are several results of this. Firstly, it should determine the kind of life that we live as True Believers. Secondly, it means that in Him we are safe because He is watching over us. Thirdly, it should remind us to have and to live with the right attitude towards Him and other people.

Resolve The Divisions In The Church!

‘Resolve The Divisions In The Church.’
1 Corinthians 11:17-19.
a) 1 Corinthians 11:17. Apostle Paul could not praise the Corinthian Church because more harm than good was being done when they met together.

-------
Chris.
Gossip is the cancer of so many churches today. Especially if the spiritual condition of the local Church is not good then gossip is the bad fruit of that situation. Gossip never helps or heals – it only further damages God’s Church.

(Through this Second one I am reminded that God Brings His Children Into Glory)
--------
Chris.
The Local Church needs to be submitted to Christ’s Direction if it is to be Pure and Effective. There are many Local churches that need to learn this important fact. The Pastors and Elders are not the directors of the Local Church, they are Shepherds and Servants. The Local Church should never be political but rather fully submitted to Christ’s Direction.

Following Biblical Church Customs!

‘Following Biblical Church Customs.’
a) 1 Corinthians 11:16. Apostle Paul encouraged it.

The Lord is the Maker of Heaven and Earth. He is a Magnificent Creator. We should be able to stand in awe and Worship because of His Creation. Sadly, too often, we take His Creation for granted.

(Through this Second one I am assured that My Hope Is In Christ)

Chris.
Bribes will always eventually cause hurt. Bribes are sin and God hates them sometimes people who bribe even try to bribe and manipulate God. Bribes are universal so they are universal sin.

b) Joshua 1:2. Joshua the Leader was commissioned by God.
c) Joshua 1:3-4. Joshua the Leader had the Promise of God.
d) Joshua 1:5. Joshua the Leader had the assurance that God was with him:-
1- No one would be able to defeat him all the days of his life.

3- God would not leave him.
4- God would not forget him.
e) Joshua 1:6. Joshua the leader had to be strong and brave to take the people to enter their Promised Land.

‘Aim For It.’

a) Unity of the Faith.
b) Knowledge of the Son of God.
c) Spiritual maturity.
d) Christ-likeness.
(This Second one reminds me to Aim For It)
----------
Chris.
Joshua the Leader delegated Authority. Every wise leader will do the same thing. The Body of Christ is Christ’s property – He is the Head. We are all the members if we are True Believers. If God has `given us a gift of Leadership we need to learn to wisely delegate Authority.

n) 1 Samuel 2:19. Care about their children when they are away from home.
(Through this QT I have just a glimpse at things mentioned in the Scriptures Especially For The Sisters)
---------
‘It Is The Lord’s Doing.’
Deuteronomy 9:1-6.
a) Deuteronomy 9:1. God speaks the Word for us to obey. Even when it is a challenge.
b) Deuteronomy 9:2. Sometimes the task seems humanly very difficult.

---------
Chris.
When we take credit for ourselves about our spiritual life and achievements we are robbing God of the Glory. All that we are in God and all that we have done in Christ are the Lord’s Doing, we should give Glory to Him.

Pleasant Words!

‘Pleasant Words.’

b) Proverbs 16:24. Are sweet to the soul and health to the bones.

c) Exodus 24:11. God did not touch them but they saw God and ate and drank in His Presence.
(This Second one reminds me that They Saw God)
--------
Chris.
We live in days when people are easily calling themselves “prophets”. Many of these so called “prophets” are not prophets at all. Some of them have just made themselves so called “prophets”, they are not appointed and anointed by God as such. Worse still, some are false “prophets” inspired by Satanic influence. Let us not be deceived.

Transfiguration And Transformation!

‘Transfiguration And Transformation.’
(Whereas Christ was Transfigured before the Disciples the Bible teaches us that every True Believer should be Transformed. It is a very similar word)

--------
Chris.
Growing is vital if we are to have a healthy Spiritual life as a True Believer. Growing is not something just for new Believers, we should all be growing to be more like Christ. We should grow until we go to Eternity.

c) Philippians 3:13. We have not already won but we forget what is behind and press on to what is ahead.
d) Philippians 3:14. We press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
(This Second one reminds me that I am On The Track And Running)
-----
Chris.
We have not already won. This is a clear Message from God’s Word. We are still in the process of winning. This is why we need a humble attitude to follow Christ. We are still in the process of winning – we are not there yet.

c) Romans 12:2. We should be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

----
Chris.
The Teaching of Children is not a secondary part of Believing family or Church life – it is a very important part. There should be seminars for parents to be in the Churches about how to teach their Children. Children’s teachers in Church should be trained well and acknowledged for their ministry.

Chris.
Corinthian Society in Bible times was so corrupt both morally and intellectually. Much of Apostle Paul’s letters to the Corinthian Church was concerned with teaching these new Believers the Truth of God’s Word.

Chris.
God’s Word is very clear - these words are spoken like a command: do not fret. Fretting can cause us so much damage to our body, especially digestive problems. Fretting can cause us emotional problems and sicknesses. Fretting negatively affects our spiritual life. Do not fret.

Be Aware!

Chris.
There are many false prophets in the World. Apostle John, late in his life wrote about this fact at that time. The situation has not changed in the many years since John wrote. Today the situation is exactly the same. Beware of false prophets.
