The Eyes Of The Lord!

'The Eyes Of The Lord!
Psalm 33:18.
a)  But the Eyes of the Lord
b)  Are on those who fear Him,
c)  On those whose Hope
d)  Is in His Unfailing Love.
(Through this QT I thank God for The Eyes Of The Lord)
PRAY: To have the Fear Of The Lord.
---------------------
'A Delightful Promise.'
Psalm 55:22.
a)  Cast your burden upon the Lord - release it!
b)  And He will sustain and uphold you;
c)  He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (Slip, Fall or Fail)
(This Second one reveals to me A Delightful Promise)
PRAY: To Believe the Promises of God.
---------------------
Chris.
We can rest assured because the Eyes Of The Lord are upon us. This fact does not stimulate fate but it should stimulate Faith. Specifically the Word says that His Eyes are upon those who fear Him and who Hope in His Unfailing Love. We are also told here that we can cast our burden upon the Lord and then He will sustain and uphold us.

Eventual Victory!

'Eventual Victory.'
Acts 7:6-7.
a)  God also told Abraham that his descendants would live in a foreign land,
b)  Where they would be oppressed as slaves
c)  For 400 years.
d)  "But I will punish the Nation that enslaves them." God said.
e)  "And in the end they will come out and Worship Me here in this place."
(This QT gives me a picture of Eventual Victory)
PRAY: For Patience to receive the Eventual Victory.
------------------
'Peter Broke Down And Wept.'
Mark 14:72.
a)  And immediately the cock crowed a second time.
b)  And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him:
c)  "Before the cock crows twice
d)  "You will deny Me three times."
e)  And he broke down and wept.
(Through this Second one I can see how Peter Broke Down And Wept)
PRAY: Not to deny the Lord.
-------------------
Chris.
Slavery has been something that the World has never been able to "shake off"! It is really a horrible, and sometimes cruel, practice but it still prevails in many countries in differing forms until today. If we simply ignore it, it does not go away. Some kinds of positive action need to be taken, especially by those people who practice it, then there can be real hope to rid the World of slavery.

Apostle Paul's Unique Concept!

'Apostle Paul's Unique Concept!
Romans 1:14.
a)  I am a debtor
b)  Both to the Greeks,
c)  And to the Barbarians;
d)  Both to the wise,
e)  And to the unwise.
(This QT teaches me about Apostle Paul's Unique Concept)
PRAY: For a clear understanding of the Bible.
-----------------
'Passing It On.'
1 Corinthians 15:3-5.
a)  1 Corinthians 15:3. For I handed on to you
b)  1 Corinthians 15:3. As of first importance
c)  1 Corinthians 15:3. What I in turn had received:
d)  1 Corinthians 15:3. That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
e)  1 Corinthians 15:4. And that He was buried,
f)  1 Corinthians 15:4. And that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
g)  1 Corinthians 15:5. And that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
(Through this Second one I find a clear Biblical Principle: Passing It On)
PRAY: To know how to Pass It On.
-----------------
Chris.
Do we ever take time, like Apostle Paul, to think about being a debtor? Who am I a debtor to? It is a good question to ask ourselves. Sometimes, even True Believers neglect questions like this. Yet, for most of us, it is because of another person or persons that we can stand in Christ today. Let us thank God for those people who helped us come to know Christ. PICTURE: Just like the Police Lady looks over the City, so that the Lord looks over our lives.

It Cannot Save!

'It Cannot Save.'
Psalm 33:17.
a)  A horse is a vain hope
b)  For deliverance;
c)  Despite all its great strength
d)  It cannot save.
(This QT reminds me that a horse cannot save)
PRAY: Trusting the Lord for Salvation.
----------------
'We Trust In The Name Of The Lord Our God.'
Psalm 20:7.
a)  Some trust in chariots
b)  And some in horses,
c)  But we trust
d)  In the Name of the Lord our God.
(Through this Second one I Trust In The Name Of The Lord My God)
PRAY: Trusting in the Name of the Lord.
----------------
Chris.
We often need to be reminded that only the Lord can save us. The Psalmist here was considering the horse, a mighty and powerful animal. The horse has great strength! The horse, however, was a vain hope for deliverance and continues to be so until today.

An Army Or Physical Strength Will Not Bring Salvation!

'An Army Or Physical Strength Will Not Bring Salvation!'
Psalm 33:16.
a)  The king is not saved by His Great Army;
b)  A warrior is not delivered
c)  By his great strength.
(This QT simply reminds me that An Army Or Physical Strength Will Not Bring Salvation)
PRAY: To trust the Lord for Salvation.
-------------
'The Lord Brought Them Into A Secure Place!'
Exodus 15:17.
a)  You brought them in
b)  And planted them
c)  On the mountain of Your Own possession,
d)  The place , Oh Lord, that You made Your abode,
e)  The Sanctuary, Oh Lord, that Your Hands have established.
(Through this Second one I see that The Lord Brought them into a secure place)
PRAY: To stay in the secure place with the Lord.
--------------
Chris.
It is good to continually Pray, trusting the Lord for Salvation in every way. It is when we neglect personal Prayer that our Spiritual Life goes wrong in some way! The word: "Salvation" has broad meanings of safety and wholeness. In the former days, people spoke about "being made whole", it is a lovely concept! To enjoy this Salvation, we surely need to maintain a regular prayer life.

I Have Been Kept From Visiting You!

'I Have Been Kept From Visiting You!'
Romans 1:13.
a)  Apostle Paul often wanted to visit the Church in Rome.
b)  He had been kept from) doing so.
c)  "What I want is to enjoy some of the results of working among you.
d)  "As I have also enjoyed the results of working
e)  "Among the rest of the Nations."
(This QT teaches me about patience: I Have Been Kept From Visiting You.)
PRAY: For Patience as we live out the Will of God.
------------
'Nathanael's Statement About Jesus.'
John 1:49.
a)  Nathanael replied:
b)  "Rabbi,You are the Son of God!
c)  "You are the King of Israel."
(This Second one tells me about Nathanael's Statement About Jesus)
PRAY: To have a full understanding of Who the Lord Jesus Christ is
------------
Chris.
There is so much for us to read, understand and learn from the Book of Romans (Paul's Epistle to the Church in Rome). It is a long Epistle and has much for us to 'take in'! I find it mildly amusing that a favourite form of eating in these days of Corona virus is "take out"! We may enjoy "take out" but we also need to 'take in' God's Word! As in the picture, maybe it is time to visit someone in the Will of God?

Leaders - What Are You Trusting?

'Leaders - What Are You Trusting?'
Psalm 33:16.
a)  No king is saved by the multitude of an army;
b)  A mighty man,
c)  Is not delivered by great strength.
(This QT stimulates my question: Leaders - What Are You Trusting)
PRAY: For our National and Spiritual Leaders to trust the Lord.
----------
'Inheritances,'
a)  Acts 7:5. God gave him no inheritance here.
b)  Acts 20:32. God is able to give us an inheritance.
c)  Galatians 3:18. The Inheritance was given to Abraham as a Promise.
d)  Ephesians 1:14. The Inheritance is God's Guarantee that He will give us the Inheritance He promised and that He has purchased us to be His Own People. He did this so that we would Praise and Glorify Him.
e)  Colossians 3:24. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
f)  1 Peter 1:4. And we have a priceless inheritance - an inheritance that is kept in Heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
(This Second one teaches me about Inheritances)
PRAY: For us to Praise and Glorify God with the inheritances that we may receive.
----------
Chris.
We should be actively Praying for our Leaders - both Spiritual and National - to put their trust in the Lord. In these days, many Nations are having problems simply because their Leaders no longer trust in the Lord. The Church needs to be Praying outside of their own little circle and be Praying for the Nation also.

The Lord Fashions Our Hearts And Considers Our Works!

'The Lord Fashions Our Hearts And Considers Our Works.'
Psalm 33:15.
a)  The Lord fashions our hearts
b)  Individually;
c)  He considers all of our works.
(This QT reminds me that it is the Lord and not 'life' that Fashions My Heart)
PRAY: For our heart to be 'right' with the Lord.
----------
'Mutual Humility And Submission.'
Titus 3:2.
a)  To speak evil of no one.
b)  To be peaceable and gentle,
c)  Showing all humility to all men.
(This Second one calls for Mutual Humility And Submission)
PRAY: To be humble and submissive before the Lord.
----------
Chris.
It is an important prayer that we pray when we pray for our heart to be 'right' with the Lord. Another way to pray this prayer is to pray for a clean and sensitive heart. All the issues of life flow from our heart so that when our heart is clean and sensitive, no matter our environment, we will be right before the Lord.

Encouraged Together!

'Encouraged Together.'
Romans 1:12.
a)  That is
b)  To be mutually encouraged by each other's Faith,
c)  Both yours and mine.
(This QT reminds me of the possibility of being Encouraged Together)
PRAY: To be an encourager whenever it is possible.
---------
'What Spiritual Leaders Need To Impart.'
Titus 1:4.
a)  "Father" care.
b)  Grace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
c)  Mercy from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
d)  Peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(This Second one teaches me What Spiritual Leaders Need To Impart)
PRAY:  For our Spiritual Leaders.
---------
Chris.
We really need to Pray that we can be encouragers whenever possible. There is no such thing as a "gift" of discouragement! I accept that there are times when we simply cannot be an encourager, but those times must be few! Many more are the opportunities that God gives us to be encouragers.

God Gave Them A Spirit Of Stupor!

'God Gave Them A Spirit Of Stupor.'
Romans 11:8.
a)  As it is written:
b)  "God gave them a spirit of stupor,
c)  "Eyes that could not see
d)  "And ears that could not hear,
e)  "To this very day."
(This QT reminds me that God can give people a Spirit Of Stupor)
PRAY: Actively rejecting stupor from your life.
--------
The Lamb Of God.'
John 1:29.
a)  The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him, and said,
b)  "Look,
c)  "The Lamb of God,
d)  "Who takes away the sin of the World.
(Through this Second one I give thanks for The Lamb Of God)
PRAY: For confidence that our sins are taken away by The Lamb Of God.
--------
Chris.
We need to read what is written in the Word of God. It is only then that we can really have confidence in it. Also there are some people who say: "The Bible says...", when the Bible does not say at all! Reading the Bible for ourselves is very important. If, for some reason, we cannot read the Bible, getting tapes or CDs of Bible Reading may help us very much.

Our Lord And King Looks Out!

'Our Lord And King Looks Out.'
Psalm 33:14.
a)  From where the Lord sits enthroned
b)  He looks out
c)  On all the inhabitants
d)  Of the Earth.
(This QT Reminds me that Our Lord And King Looks Out)
PRAY: To live with the fear of the Lord
-------
'The Lord Rewards The Children Of Man.'
Jeremiah 32:19.
a)  Great in Counsel
b)  And mighty in deed,
c)  Whose eyes are open to all of the ways of the Children of man,
d)  Rewarding each one according to his ways
e)  And according to the fruit of his deeds.
(Through this Second one I have assurance that The Lord Rewards The Children Of Men)
PRAY: To live with righteous ways and deeds.
-------
Chris.
We should always remember that our Lord is the Living Lord and King. Even whilst we are asleep, He is awake and concerned for us. He is enthroned and that means He is the King of kings. He actively looks out for us. He looks out on all the inhabitants of the Earth. Sometimes His seeming inaction is a manifestation of His Mercy and Grace. PICTURE: Pray for those people whom you know that are travelling today, especially by public transport. (Plane, Train, Bus or Ship.) That they will be kept safe.

Another Purpose Of Spiritual Gifts!

'Another Purpose Of Spiritual Gifts.'
Romans 1:11.
a)  For I long to visit you
b)  So I can bring you some spiritual Gift
c)  That will help you
d)  Grow strong in the Lord.
(This QT reveals to me Another Purpose Of Spiritual Gifts)
PRAY: For Spiritual Gifts to be manifest within our Churches.
------
'Be Unshakable.'
Hebrews 12:27.
a)  This means that all of Creation
b)  Will be shaken and removed,
c)  So that only unshakable things
d)  Will remain.
(This Second one exhorts me to Be Unshakable)
PRAY: To Be Unshakable.
------
Chris.
An important prayer that we can Pray for ourselves is to Pray to God that we will not be shaken. Some Believers are too sensitive in an incorrect way. This makes it difficult for them to enjoy fellowship with others and also others to have fellowship with them. If we realise that we are too sensitive, then we need to pray and ask God to help us. We should be able to enjoy fellowship meals, as in the picture.

The Hardened Missed It!

'The Hardened Missed It.'
Romans 11:7.
a)  What then?
b)  What the People of Israel sought so earnestly
c)  They did not obtain.
d)  The Elect among them did,
e)  But the others were hardened,
(This QT reminds me that The Hardened Missed It)
PRAY: Especially for those people of Israel whose hearts are hardened, that they will turn to the Lord.
-----
'Predestined.'
Romans 8:29.
a)  For God knew His People in advance,
b)  And chose them to become like His Son,
c)  That He might be the Firstborn
d)  Among many brothers and sisters.
(This Second one causes me to rejoice...Predestined)
PRAY: For the Assurance of being Predestined.
-----
Chris.
If we seek something from God in a wrong way, even though we may seek for it earnestly, we will never be able to attain it. It says of the People of Israel that they did not obtain what they were seeking. When we are seeking God and asking something from Him, we ought to come to Him in a correct and proper Biblical way.

Have Mercy Lord!

'Have Mercy Lord!'
Isaiah 63:15.
a)  Look down from Heaven,
b)  And see from the Habitation of your Holiness and of Your Glory:
c)  Where are your Zeal and Your mighty acts?
d)  The yearning of Your Heart and Your Compassion is restrained toward me.
(This QT stimulates my cry: 'Have Mercy Lord!')
PRAY: 'Have Mercy Lord.' When we need to.
----
'The Lord Is Our Father And Redeemer.'
Isaiah 63:16.
a)  For You are our Father,
b)  Though Abraham does not know us,
c)  And Israel does not acknowledge us;
d)  You, Oh Lord, are our Father,
e)  Our Redeemer From Of Old is Your Name.
(Through this Second one I trust The Lord As My Father And Redeemer)
PRAY: To the Father every time in the Name of Jesus Christ.
----
Chris.
We have a God Who is intimately interested in us, in every part of our lives. He is interested not only in what we do, but also in who we are. It is because of His Interest and Love that we can say: "Have Mercy Lord!" in our Prayer. Surely He Will answer that.

If God Wants!

'If God Wants.'
Romans 1:10.
a)  I pray.
b) that I might be able to visit you,
c)  If God wants me to.
(This QT teaches me that Prayer is important in determining the Will of God...If God Wants)
PRAY: To do what God wants.
---
'Our Paying.'
Romans 13:7.
a)  To all what is owed to them.
b)  Taxes to whom taxes are owed,
c)  Revenue to whom revenue is owed,
d)  Respect to whom respect is owed,
e)  Honour to whom honour is owed.
(Through this Second one we can examine Our Paying)
PRAY: To practise Our Paying correctly.
---
Chris.
We want many things, some of them justifiably and others possibly out of greed, but what does God want from us? The Bible clearly teaches us both what God desires and also what He desires from us. It is good to reflect personally on the Will of God before we start praying for our 'wants'

Because Of God's Loving Favour!

'Because Of God's Loving Favour.'
Romans 11:6.
a)  If they are Saved from the punishment of sin
b)  Because of God's loving-favour,
c)  It is nothing men have done to earn it.
d)  If men had earned it,
e)  Then His loving-favour would not be a free gift.
(This QT helps me to realise that I am Saved Because Of God's Loving Favour)
PRAY: Thanking God for His Loving Favour.
-----------
'No Pride, Simply God's Grace.'
Deuteronomy 9:4-5.
a)  Do not say in your heart,
b)  After the Lord your God has thrust them out before you:
c)  "It is because of my righteousness
d)  "That the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,"
e)  Whereas it is because of the wickedness of these Nations
g)  That the Lord your God is driving them out before you,
h)  And that He may confirm the Word that the Lord swore to your fathers,
i)  1-To Abraham,
    2-To Isaac.
    3-And to Jacob.
(This Second one makes me ponder: No Pride, Simply God's Grace)
PRAY: To reject Pride and welcome Grace.
-----------
Chris.
We can do nothing to earn God's Loving Favour. This Favour is something that God gives even when we are still in our mother's womb. We should always be grateful to God because of His Loving Favour. A Christian living without the realization of God's Love is really living with some kind of emotional and spiritual emptiness.

Assuredly!

'Assuredly.'
a)  1 Samuel 28:1. David assuredly knew that there was a battle coming.
b)  1 Kings 1:30. It was assuredly known that Solomon was to follow David as king.
c)  Jeremiah 32:41. Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My Heart and with all My Soul.
d)  Matthew 6:16. Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly I say to you they have their reward.
e)  Matthew 16:28. Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom.
f)  Matthew 17:20. So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain: 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
g)  Matthew 18:3; Mark 10:15; Luke 18:17. And said: "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
h)  Matthew 18:18. "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven.
i)  Mark 8:12. But Jesus sighed deeply in His Spirit, and said: "Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation."
k)  Mark 9:41. "For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My Name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward."
l)  Luke 4:24. Then He said: "Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country."
m)  John 6:47. "Most assuredly, I say to you, He who believes in Me has Everlasting Life."
n)  John 8:34. Jesus answered them: "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin."
o)  John 8:51. "Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My Word he shall never see death."
(Through this QT we have confidence in the Words of Jesus Christ: "Assuredly.")
PRAY: Rejoicing in the Promises of God.
----------
'The Wife".
a)  Matthew 27:19. Can sometimes help, not control, her family situation through her dreams/
b)  Mark 10:7. Her husband comes to be joined with her.
c)  Luke 8:3. Joanna, wife of Chuza, helped provide for Jesus' material needs.
d)  Luke 16:18. Is provided for under God's Law.
e)  1 Corinthians 5:1. Should not be involved in sexual immorality.
f)  1 Corinthians 7:14. The unbelieving husband can be sanctified by his wife.
g)  1 Peter 3:7. Should be honoured by their husbands,
(This Second one teaches me that God acknowledges The Wife)
PRAY: For the wives in your Church. Husbands also pray for your wives.
----------
Chris.
When we simply, as True Believers, give other people a drink or a meal, we do not have to say: 'This is in the Lord's Name', we simply just need to do it! We show to others that we are Believers by the way that we live, not just by the words we speak! Pure religion is active and considers others. Pure religion is nothing to do with the words that come out of our mouths.

Serving And Praying!

'Serving And Praying.'
Romans 1:9.
a)  For God is my witness,
b)  Whom I serve with my spirit in the Gospel of His Son,
c)   That without ceasing
d)  I make mention always of you in my prayers.
(This QT teaches me the importance of the togetherness of Serving And Praying)
PRAY: To prioritize Serving And Praying in our ministries.
----------
'Pure Happiness Enhances Spiritual Strength.'
Romans 12:12.
a)  Be happy in your Hope,
b)  Stand your ground when you are in trouble,
c)  And devote yourselves to prayer.
(This Second one reveals to me that Pure Happiness Enhances Spiritual Strength)
PRAY: To be happy in your Hope.
----------
Chris.
For the True Believer, serving and praying should always go together. Jesus Christ Himself sets us this example very well, He always held the balance between serving and praying. Even the "busy" pastor or leader is not excluded from both serving and praying. I am sure that a greater level of anointing will come to those who both serve and pray.

The Remnant!

The Remnant.'
Romans 11:5.
a)  So too
b)  At the present time
c)  There is a remnant
d)  Chosen by Grace.
(This QT reminds me that there is The Remnant)
PRAY: For people to understand what it means to be The Remnant.
---------
'Amazing God.'
Romans 11:33.
a)  Oh,
b)  The depth of the riches
c)  Both of the Wisdom and Knowledge of God!
d)  How unsearchable are His Judgments
e)  And unfathomable His Ways!
(This Second one causes me to exclaim: "Amazing God")
PRAY: Exalting Amazing God.
---------
Chris.
We really do need to consider the present time simply because the Bible encourages us to do that. It does not really help us to dwell in the past in our thoughts. The past has passed and we cannot do anything about it now. Dwelling only on the future can also be like a trap that leads us into depression. Considering the present time can lead us into relevant Prayer and Thanksgiving to God which will stimulate our lives in every way.

Giving To The Needy!

'Giving To The Needy.'
Matthew 6:1-4.
a)  Matthew 6:1. Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in Heaven.
b)  Matthew 6:2. So, when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets to be honoured by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
c)  Matthew 6:3. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
d)  Matthew 6:4. So that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
(This QT reminds me of some principles about Giving To The Needy)
PRAY: For our Gracious, not legalistic, Giving To The Needy.
---------
'Rejoicing, Praying And Thanksgiving.'
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
a)  1 Thessalonians 5:16. Rejoice always,
b)  1 Thessalonians 5:17. Pray without ceasing,
c)  1 Thessalonians 5:18. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
(This Second one calls me to be Rejoicing, Praying and Thanksgiving)
PRAY: That True Believers (including ourselves) can be a people who are: Rejoicing, Praying and Thanksgiving.
---------
Chris.
Heaven is a wonderful subject to ponder upon and to preach about! It is the Eternal Hope of every True Believer. Of course we have a Calling to fulfil on this Earth, but it is Heaven that should truly motivate and inspire our ministries here. Especially for those of us who are a little more aged, we are positively comforted by thoughts of Heaven.

A Good Reason To Give Thanks To God!

'A Good Reason To Give Thanks To God.'
Romans 1:8.
a)  First,
b)  I thank my God through Jesus Christ
c)  For all of you,
d)  Because your Faith is proclaimed throughout the World.
(This QT gives me A Good Reason To Give Thanks To God)
PRAY: With Thanksgiving, for others.
--------
'A Trespass.'
a)  Leviticus 5:15. May be an unintentional sin.
b)  Leviticus 6:2. May be against the Lord by deceiving another person.
c)  1 Samuel 25:28. Can be forgiven by the Lord through Prayer.
d)  Matthew 6:14. If we forgive other people their trespasses then ours can be forgiven by God.
e)  Romans 4:25. Jesus was crucified as punishment for our trespasses.
f)  Ephesians 1:7. In Christ we have the Redemption of our trespasses.
g)  Colossians 2:13. Forgiveness of our trespasses makes us alive in Christ.
(Through this Second one I want to be free from every Trespass)
PRAY: To confess our trespasses to God.
--------
Chris.
It is good for us to ponder upon the reasons that we may have to give Thanks to God. We will not have to ponder very far! If we are wholesome beings, living in a normal daily environment, there is much for us to give Thanks to God for. Apostle Paul sets us a very good example, he uses the word FIRST! "First I thank my God....". PICTURE: This is a time of year when many people travel. Please pray for safety on the roads for those people whom you know that may be on the roads at this time.

God Reserves Them For Himself!

'God Reserves Them For Himself.'
Romans 11:4.
a)  And do you remember God's reply?
b)  He said:
c)  "No, I have seven thousand others
d)  "Who have never bowed down to Baal.
(This QT reminds me that God Reserves Them For Himself)
PRAY: To keep free from idol worship.
-------
'God's Amazing Ways.'
Romans 11:11.
a)  Do I mean that the People of Israel fell,
b)  Never to get up again?
c)  Certainly not!
d)  Their failure made it possible for the Gentiles to be Saved,
e)  And this will make the People of Israel jealous.
(This Second one reveals some of God's Amazing Ways.
PRAY: For Faith to believe God's Amazing Ways.
-------
Chris.
God always preserves His People for Himself! We need to clearly remember this. Our Salvation is not really about us, it is about Him! The fact that we live for Christ today, following Him, is really about His Love preserving us.

Christ's Love For The Church - Our Example!

'Christ's Love For The Church - Our Example.'
Ephesians 5:25.
a)  Husbands, love your wives,
b)  Just as Christ also loved the Church
c)  And gave Himself for her,
Ephesians 5:26.
a)  That He might sanctify and cleanse her
b)  With the washing of water
c)  By the Word,
Ephesians 5:27.
a)  That He might present her to Himself
b)  A glorious Church,
c)  Having not spot or wrinkle or any such thing,
d)  But that she should be Holy and without blemish.
(This QT reveals Christ's Love For The Church - Our Example)
PRAY: That the Love of Christ might be manifest in our families and Churches.
------
'No Room For Bitterness In Marriage.'
Colossians 3:19.
a)  Husbands
b)  Love your wives
c)  And do not be bitter toward them.
(Through this Second one I know that there is No Room For Bitterness In Marriage)
PRAY: To reject any bitterness from the marriages in your family.
------
Chris.
We should always remember that Our Lord Jesus Christ has given Himself for His Church. He has given His Church His Word so that His Church may remain clean before Him. Both at home and in Church we need to read God's Word regularly and carefully so that we can apply it to our lives. PICTURE: The building may be very simple, Church or home, but the people inside are precious to God.

b)  Beloved of God,
c)  Called as Saints:

'Receive God Well.'
John 13:20.
a)  I assure you that whoever receives someone I send
b)  Receives Me,
c)  And whoever receives Me
d)  Receives the One Who sent Me.
(This Second one encourages me to Receive God Well)
PRAY: To receive well: The Lord's Messenger, The Lord Jesus Christ and The Heavenly Father.
-----
Chris.
Grace and Peace come to us from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ. We should highly esteem this Grace and Peace. We live in a World that is competitive and broken, the only way it can be healed is in the Grace of God and the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are times that even the Church is competitive and broken - the remedy is the same - Grace and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Elijah's Cry!

'Elijah's Cry.'
Romans 11:3.
a)  "Lord,

'A Bold And Anointed Servant Of The Lord.'
Acts 9:17.
a)  So Ananias departed and entered the house.
b)  And laying his hands on him he said,
c)  "Brother Saul,
d)  "The Lord Jesus Who appeared to you on the road by which you came
e)  "Has sent me so that you may regain your sight
f)  "And be filled with the Holy Spirit.
(Through this Second One I pray for more Bold And Anointed Servants Of The Lord To Be Raised Up)
PRAY: For God to raise up in the Churches and for the Churches more Bold And Anointed Servants Of The Lord.
----
Chris.
Bold and Anointed Servants of the Lord are raised up for the Churches in answer to Prayer. If the Church does not pray, for others and itself, it will surely be a mediocre Church that is ineffective and brings no Glory to God! It is a useless exercise to criticize and blame pastors when the Church itself is weak in prayer. A praying Church will be an effective Church.

Chris.
I was sick and you looked after me. This has really been my testimony: "I was sick and you looked after me." I am so grateful to those who looked after me both at home and in hospital. This has been a difficult part of my life that has been made easy because I have been so well looked after. I am hoping and praying to be more active again soon.

------------------------------
Chris.
The Salvation that God gives is a very special Gift. To have the Assurance of Salvation is surely an inner miracle. i remember when I was serving in UK before going to Asia, there was a group of young people in the Church who could simply accept the Truth of the Gospel and respond to it well. This really encouraged me in the Ministry and gave me assurance to go on and do God's Will. We should always be happy and free to share the Truth of the Gospel when we are in the situation to do so amongst willing and enthusiastic hearers.
