a) Ephesians 5:16. Because the times that we live in are evil.
b) John 9:4; 12:35. Do God’s Works whilst the Light is here.
c) Romans 13:11. It is high time to wake up because our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
d) 1 Corinthians 7:29. The time is short.
e) Colossians 4:5. So we need to live in Wisdom, especially in front of non-believers.

‘Please Do Not Get Drunk.’
a) Ephesians 5:18. Apostle Paul says so – it is God’s Word to the Church.
b) Proverbs 20:1. Strong drink is a deceiver.
c) Proverbs 23:20-21. It will harm us financially.
d) Proverbs 23:29-30; Isaiah 5:11. It brings sorrow.
e) Luke 21:34. It can take control of our life.
f) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:20-21. It keeps us out of the Kingdom of God.
g) 1 Peter 4:3-4. It is worldliness.

The time is short. We do not know the time of our Lord’s physical return but we do know that many of the evidences that He spoke about regarding it are taking place. This should cause us to be good stewards of time.
