‘Abraham’s Reward.’
Genesis 22:16-17.
a)
God saw what Abraham did and God said.

That He had sworn.
c)
Because Abraham did not withhold his only son.
d)
In Blessing God was going to Bless Abraham.

God was going to multiply Abraham’s seed.
f)
Abraham’s offspring were going to possess the
gate of their enemies.

Abraham’s Reward is very encouraging reading for me. Abraham
firstly trusted God and secondly obeyed God and then God rewarded him. I am
reminded of the old hymn: “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy
in Jesus but to trust and obey”.
