Ephesians 6:1-3.

Ephesians 6:1. Children should obey their
Parents in the Lord - it is the correct thing to do.
b)
Ephesians 6:2. We are to honour our Father and
Mother, this is the first one of God’s Commands that includes a Promise.

Ephesians 6:3. This is the Promise: if we
honour our Father and Mother, ours will be a long life, full of Blessing.

Nearly every Promise of God’s Word is
conditional. God says that if we do a certain thing that He wants us to do, or
to have the attitude that He wants us to have, then we are open to receiving
His Blessing on our lives. God likes His People to follow Him closely.
