Delightful And Humbling Teaching Of Jesus Christ!

‘Delightful And Humbling Teaching Of Jesus Christ.’
Mark 9:33-37.
a)      Mark 9:33. Jesus and His Disciples came to the house in Capernaum where they were going to stay.
b)      Mark 9:33. Jesus asked His Disciples what they were arguing about along the road.
c)       Mark 9:34. They were ashamed to answer so stayed silent. They were arguing about which one of them was the greatest.
d)      Mark 9:35. Jesus sat down and then called His Disciples to Him. Jesus said to them:-
1-      If any man wants to be first.
2-     He must be last of all.
3-     He will be the one to care for other people.
e)      Mark 9:36. Then Jesus:-
1-      Took a child.
2-     Set him in the midst of the Disciples.
3-     Then took him up in His Arms.
4-     Jesus then spoke to His Disciples again:-
f)        Mark 9:37. “Whoever receives one little child in My Name receives Me. Whoever receives Me actually receive not Me but Him Who sent Me.”

‘Is It Possible To Eat Sinfully?’
Romans 14:23.
a)      If we have doubts about the food we eat, whether it is “clean” or not in God’s eyes.
b)      Then God says that we are guilty when we eat it.
c)       It is because we are eating without Faith.
d)      Whatsoever is not of Faith is sin.

Chris.
Jesus sat down and called His Disciples to Him. Then He spoke to them. Generally, even when He was Teaching the crowds Jesus sat down to Teach. This time it was exclusively for those people who were the closest to Him. I think that sometimes the words “formal” and “informal” invade our Church life unnecessarily. It is worth our time in Church or house/small group to consider carefully the Teaching styles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
