‘Hospitality.’
1 Peter 4:9.
a)
Means being open, even with our homes.
b)
Should be given without complaining if it is our
gift and choice to give it.
c)
Is not a one way thing – it is to one another.
(This QT affirms to me the
Spirituality of Hospitality)
‘Balaam’s Prophecy.’
Numbers 24:17.
a)
Spiritually Balaam saw and beheld the Coming
of the Lord.
b)
He saw:-
1-
Someone Who will come.
2-
He saw a Star.
3-
He saw a Ruler.
c)
He saw the Victories of the Lord.
(This
Second one reminds me of Balaam’s Prophecy)
Chris.
Hospitality,
in its full Biblical meaning, is Spiritual. I have been given hospitality so
many times – both long and short term by many lovely people. When we are given
Hospitality by other Brothers and Sisters in Christ we can and should sense the
Love of God. There are some people who have the Gift of Hospitality others just
give it, whichever it is, Hospitality is a beautiful Spiritual Gift.
