a) Luke 1:68. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel.
He has visited and redeemed His People.
b) Luke 1:69. He has raised up a Mighty Saviour
for us in the Family of His Servant David.
c) Luke 1:70. The Lord God spoke by the mouth of
His Holy Prophets which have been since the World began.
d) Luke 1:71. The Lord God Promised to Save us
from our enemies and from the power of the hands of all people that hate us.
e) Luke 1:72. The Lord God has shown His Mercy to
our Ancestors and remembered His Holy Promise.
f) Luke 1:73. This is the Oath that the Lord God
swore to Father Abraham.

Children,
obey your parents in all things. I have read of and heard of this Scripture
being taken out of context in several ways, this leaves the Children hurt and
confused and the parents angry. It was never intended to be like that. If we
consider the background and the concept we can begin to form a correct
interpretation that is effective in modern society and yet totally Biblical.
