2 Kings 23:2.
a) The King, the Leader of the People of God went
up into the House of the Lord.
b) All the people of Judah and Jerusalem went
with him.
c) With the King were:-
1- The Priests.
2- The Prophets.
3- All the people from the least to the
greatest.
d) Then the King read to them the entire Book of
the Covenant that had been found in the House of the Lord.

‘Spiritual
Birth.’
John
1:13.
a) Is a Miracle from God.
b) It is not a birth:-
1- Through the will of the flesh.
2- That is the result of human passion.
3- Physically that is planned.
c) It is a Birth that comes from God.
(Through this Second one I am so
grateful for my Spiritual Birth)

There was a great desire in the
hearts of God’s People to hear the King read the Book of the Covenant. This was
not entertainment, nor was it trying to please the people through what the King
said. This was not some wonderful preaching. This was simply the reading of the
Word of God which His People were so hungry and thirsty for.
