‘Do Not Be
Fooled.’
Deuteronomy
11:16-17.
a) These are the Words of the Lord Himself.
b) He says: “Be Careful.” and “Do Not Be Fooled”.
c) We are not to turn away from the Lord and
serve other gods or bow down to them.
d) If we turn away from the Lord He will be very
angry with us. He will:-
1- Shut the skies and there will be no
rain.
2- Cause the land to not make a harvest.
3- Cause His People to die in the good
land which He was giving to them.
(This QT exhorts me: Do Not Be
Fooled)
‘Handle Our Riches Humbly.’
1 Timothy 6:17.
a) Give this Command to those people in the
Church who are rich in the things of this World.
b) Tell them not to be proud.
c) Tell them to Hope in God and not in money.
d) God gives us all things richly to enjoy.
(This Second one tells me to Handle My
Riches Humbly)

These are the Words of the Lord
Himself. We need to remember that the Bible is God’s Word and we should revere
it as such. The Bible has a much Greater authority than any Gifts of the Holy
Spirit or any human authority and leadership. Let us revere the Bible.
