Peter 4:1.
a) Christ has suffered for us in His Body.
b) We must be ready to suffer also.
c) We need to arm ourselves with a Christ-like
mind.
d) Suffering puts an end to sin. (If we handle it
correctly)
(This QT challenges me: Am I Ready?)
‘The Lord’s Great Love For Us.’
Deuteronomy 7:7-8.
a) The Lord did not put His Love upon us or
choose us because we are more numerous than other peoples.
b) True Believers are the fewest of all people.
c) The Lord Loves us and will keep His Promises
to us that He gave to the past generations.
d) The Lord has:-
1- Brought us out with His strong Hand.
2- Redeemed us.
3- Set us free.
e) The ‘Pharaohs’ of the World system need have
no more power over us.
(This Second one amazes me: The Lord’s
Great Love For Me)

We must be ready to suffer. This does
not mean that we are continually looking out for suffering. It also does not
mean that we become obsessed or paranoid about suffering. It means that
spiritually, if suffering comes our way, whatever the source, we are ready for
it.
