‘One Mindedness.’
1 Peter 3:8-12.
a) 1 Peter 3:8. The climax of what Peter writes
is here:-
1- Be of one mind.
2- Have compassion one of another.
3- Love as Brethren.
4- Be pitiful.
5- Be Courteous.
b) 1 Peter 3:9. We should not render evil for
evil or railing for railing: rather we should be Blessing others. We should
remember that we are called to Bless other people, then we will inherit a
Blessing.
c) 1 Peter 3:10. If we are to love life and see
good days we should refrain our tongue from evil and our lips from speaking
guile.
d) 1 Peter 3:11. We are to decline from evil and
do good also to seek Peace and pursue it.
e) 1 Peter 3:12. The Eyes of the Lord are upon
the Righteous and His Ears are open to their Prayers.
f) 1 Peter 3:12. The Face of the Lord is against
those people who do evil.

We need to be pitiful people if we
are True Believers. Pitiful people are not people who need pity rather they are
people who are full of pity to share with other people. They are empathisers,
they are caregivers into the Church.
