Hebrews 7:5 & 8;
Nehemiah 10:37. Were the main means of support for the priests.

Numbers 18:28. Should be
offered to the Lord.

Deuteronomy 12:11. Are
given to the Lord in the place that He chooses. (Today, that is normally the
local Church)
d)
Nehemiah 10:38. The tithe
of the tithes should be taken to the House of God.

Malachi 3:10. The tithes
were to be kept in the storehouse.

The tithes were
all to be kept in the House of God storehouse. The Scriptures that we read
today teach that the Old Testament system of giving tithes was firstly for the
upkeep of the priesthood that, of course, would include their family. God
wanted His People to obey Him and then all would go well for them.
