Briers!



‘Briers.’
a)      Isaiah 7:25; Hebrews 6:8. Prevent the land being fertile.
b)      Micah 7:4; Matthew 7:16. Are a type of people that are not good.
c)       Proverbs 15:19. Are difficult for lazy people when they encounter them.
d)      Ezekiel 28:24. Sometimes our enemies treat us like briers.
e)      Isaiah 55:13. God will get rid of them and replace them with something good.
f)       Isaiah 5:6. God can Create land that is covered with them.
g)      Isaiah 10:17; 27:4. The enemy is like briers that God will devour.

h)      Being troubled on every side but not distressed.
i)        Being perplexed but not in despair.
j)        Being persecuted but not forsaken.
k)     Being cast down but not destroyed.
(Through this Second one I Praise Him for God With Me In Every Situation)

God can Create land that is covered in briers. We do not always understand the Ways of God because we are not supposed to. Life is surely not easy when we face any field that is ‘covered in briers’ yet God is Faithful to give us His Way in the difficult situation. As we follow that way all will turn out for the Glory of God.
