How Long?



‘How Long?’
a)  Isaiah 6:11. Oh Lord will this desolation last?
b)  Exodus 10:7. Will the Children of Israel be a snare to Pharaoh and his men?
c)  Numbers 14:11. Will God’s People despise Him and refuse to Believe in Him?
d)  Numbers 14:27. Will God’s People in their wickedness complain against Him?
e)  Joshua 18:3. Shall we be slack in taking the land that God has given to us?
f)  1 Kings 18:21. Will you go limping on with two different opinions?
g)  Job 19:2. Will you torment me and break me in pieces with words?
h)  Psalm 4:2. Will:-
1- God’s People make His Honour suffer shame?
2- God’s People love vain words?
3- God’s People seek after lies?
i)  Psalm 13:1-2. Will:-
1- The Lord forget me?
2- The Lord hide His Face from me?
3- I bear pain in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all day long?
4- My enemy be exalted over me?
j)  Psalm 35:17. Oh Lord will You look on?
k)  Psalm 74:10. Oh God is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy going to revile Your Name forever?

n)  Psalm 89:46. Oh Lord. Will you hide Yourself forever?

u)  Jeremiah 31:22. Will you waver oh faithless daughter?
v)  Jeremiah 47:6. Sword of the Lord, until you are quiet?
w)  Habakkuk 2:6. Will you load yourselves with goods taken in pledge?
x)  Zechariah 1:12. Oh Lord of Hosts will you withhold Mercy from Jerusalem?
y)  Mark 9:19. Jesus questioned: Must I be among faithless people?

‘They Turned Back.’
John 6:66.
a)  Jesus had been talking about Discipleship and what being a Disciple means for us.
b)  Because of this talking.
c)  Many of Jesus’ Disciples turned back.
d)  They no longer went about with Him.
(This Second one tells me why They Turned Back)

God asked His People how much longer were they going to load themselves with goods taken in pledge! This was obviously something that He did not like that was happening in Bible times. This habit is still common today, rather than buy things outright it has become popular and easier to buy them on credit. Some people load themselves with goods bought this way. Is God pleased with this?
