There Is Always A Reason!

‘There Is Always A Reason!’
Isaiah 5:11-14.
a)     Isaiah 5:11; Leviticus 10:9; Numbers 6:2-3. Woe comes to the people who drink alcohol all day long.
b)    Isaiah 5:12. These people like their entertainment but they do not esteem the works and ways of the Lord.
c)     Isaiah 5:13-14; Psalm 28:5. Therefore they and their friends and family suffer:-
1-    Exile.
2-    Isaiah 1:3. Ignorance.
3-    Hunger.
4-    Thirst.
5-    Hell.
(This QT shows me that There Is Always A Reason)
-----------
‘Micah’s Prayer Of Lament.’
Micah 1:8.
a)     Micah prayed this lament because of all that was happening in Jerusalem and amongst God’s People.
b)    This was happening because they were rejecting God.
c)     Micah lamented and wailed.
d)    Isaiah 20:2. Micah walked barefoot and naked.
e)     Micah howled like a jackal.
f)     Micah mourned like an ostrich.
(Through this Second one I know that there is sometimes a need for prayers just like Micah’s Prayer Of Lament)

Chris.
Woe comes to the people who drink alcohol all day long. It does not matter who the person is, if they drink alcohol every day, even though they might not be an alcoholic (usually alcoholics also drink alone as well as socially), these people develop a ‘drinking mind’. There are many other things that go along with drinking: Smoking, Dubious Humour, Wrong Relationships, Family Neglect, etc. All these things are harmful for us and woe comes eventually.
