Floods in
the Bible usually speak of difficult times. The aggressive waters of Assyria,
like a flood. We read of the enemy coming in ‘like a flood’ and similar Scriptures.
God destroyed the first Creation with a flood. A flood will destroy everything
in its path. Thank God for His Presence during the flood. The Lord raises a
standard against it. Immanuel is still with His People.
