Agriculture!



‘Agriculture.’
a)   Isaiah 7:23. Ceases because of the sin of the people.
b)   Genesis 3:23. Became Adam’s work.
c)     Hosea 2:8. We should thank God because of it.
d)   Isaiah 28:26. God gives the farmer skill to do it well.
e)    2 Timothy 2:16. The hard working farmer should be the first to enjoy its fruit.
f)     James 5:7. Requires patience.
g)   2 Chronicles 26:10; Matthew 20:1. Requires workers so that it may prosper.
h)   Matthew 9:37. Is a type of the Mission field.
i)      Genesis 9:20. Noah went into it after the flood.
j)      Genesis 13:10. Looks beautiful.
k)   Deuteronomy 11:14-15. Its success depends on God.
l)      Isaiah 5:2. Its result depends on God.
m)                         Ecclesiastes 11:4. Must be done in all weathers.
n)   Isaiah 32:20. Its success is the Blessing of the Lord.
o)    Matthew 13:3. Jesus talked about it.
p)   Proverbs 31:16. Can be practised by ladies too.

‘Going On In God’s Will.’
Philippians 1:22-24.
a)   Philippians 1:22. If Apostle Paul continued to live on then he has no choice, no decision to make. He would just keep going.
b)   Philippians 1:23. He really wanted to go to be with Christ and described that as being much better.
c)     Philippians 1:24. He knew however that it was better for the Church to continue on with his life on the Earth.
(This Second one encourages me to be Going On In God’s Will)

Apostle Paul realised that his life was completely in God’s Hands. He never made long term plans that omitted God. Paul knew that it was up to God whether he lived or died and he trusted the Wisdom of God in the Decisions He made. This meant that Paul really followed God in all things.
