‘We Are To Learn From Them.’
Hebrews 3:15-19.
a)
Hebrews 3:15. Remember that
we are not to harden our hearts as Israel did when they rebelled. If we harden
our hearts we will not hear God speaking to us.
b)
Hebrews 3:16. It was the
people that Moses led out of Egypt that rebelled against God, even though they
had heard His Voice.
c)
Hebrews 3:17. The people who
sinned and whose corpses lay in the wilderness were the people that made God
angry for forty years.
d)
Hebrews 3:18. God spoke to
the people who disobeyed Him and He took an oath that they would never enter
His Rest.
e)
Hebrews 3:19. Because of
unbelief God’s People were not able to enter His Rest.
(This QT teaches me: I Am To Learn From Them)
‘No One Can Hide.’
Jeremiah 23:24.
a)
No one can hide themselves
in secret places.
b)
Thinking that God will not
see them.
c)
This is the Word of the
Lord.
d)
The Lord fills Heaven and
Earth.
e)
This is the Word of the
Lord.
(Through this
Second one I know that No One Can Hide from God)
Chris.
It is possible, but not
recommended, that God’s People can make Him angry. Unbelief in His People makes
God angry. Disobedience in His People makes God angry. Sin in His People makes
God angry. Rebellion in His People makes God angry. Thank God that He sent
Jesus Christ His Son to take the punishment for our unbelief, disobedience, sin
and rebellion on the Cross. If we confess and repent of those things we can be
restored in our relationship with God and have confidence in Him.
