‘The Loved And Growing Church.’
Song Of Solomon 8:10-12.
a)            Song of Solomon 8:10; Acts 15:30-31. Is an encouraged Church.
b)           Song of Solomon 8:10; Ephesians 2:17-19; 2 Thessalonians 1:3. Becomes mature and finds Peace.
c)            Song of Solomon 8:10; Isaiah 66:11. Is a life giving Church.
d)           Song of Solomon 8:10; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:14. Is a Church that finds Peace.
e)            Song of Solomon 8:11; Matthew 21:42:43. Becomes a Fruitful Church.
f)              Song of Solomon 8:12; Romans 8:4. The Church with a future. Living according to the Holy Spirit.
g)            Song of Solomon 8:12; Luke 19:13. Is an active Church.

‘Bethel.’
Genesis 28:16-22.
a)            Genesis 28:16. Jacob woke up and realised that he had been in the Lord’s Presence.
b)           Genesis 28:17. Fear came to Jacob because he realised that truly he had been at the House of God and the Gate of Heaven.
c)            Genesis 28:18. Jacob rose up early in the morning and he:-
1-               Took the stone that he took for a pillow.
2-            Set the stone up for a pillar.
3-             Poured oil on top of it.
d)           Genesis 28:19. Jacob called the place Bethel (meaning House of God) although the original name was Luz (meaning almond tree).
e)            Genesis 28:20-22. Jacob then vowed a vow:-
1-               Of response to God.
2-            Of commitment to God’s House.
3-             Of giving a tenth of all he had to God.
(Through this Second one I desire to be at Bethel to Worship God)

Jacob poured oil on top of the pillar that he had set up as a place of Worship to God. The oil is a type of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament calls for True Worshippers to Worship God in Spirit and in Truth. We need to value the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our Worship Services.
