Hebrews 2:16-17.

It is clear that Jesus
did not reach out to help Angels.
b)
Jesus took upon Himself
the seed of Abraham so that He could help Abraham’s offspring.
c)
Jesus had to be made like
His brothers in every way.
d)
So that He could become a
Merciful and Faithful High Priest in service to God.
e)
Especially to make
propitiation for the sins of the people.

Jesus Christ our Lord is a
Merciful and Faithful High Priest in service to God. We can thank God today
especially for His Priesthood at the Cross, shedding His Own Blood as the
Sacrifice for our sins. We can also thank Him for His present Intercession for
us at the Right Hand of the Father in Heaven.
