‘Are We God Blessed Soil?’
Hebrews 6:7-8.
a)
God blesses the soil which drinks in the rain
that often falls on it.
b)
God blesses the soil which grows plants that
are useful to those people for whom it is cultivated.
c)
This produce is the Blessing of God.
d)
The ground that grows thorns and weeds is good
for nothing, it is worthless.
e)
This ground is in danger of being cursed by
God.
f)
This ground will be destroyed by fire. (Burned
over)

‘Be A Good And
Faithful Servant.’
Matthew 25:21.
a)
The good and faithful servant was told by his
master that he had done well.
b)
This servant was faithful and trustworthy in
handling small amounts and doing a few things.
c)
So the master told this servant that he would
put him in charge of handling large amounts and many things.
d)
This servant was welcomed by the master to
come in and share the master’s happiness together.
(This Second one encourages me to Be A Good And Faithful Servant)

The ground that grows thorns and weeds is good for nothing, it
is worthless. Surely no True Believer really wants to be in such condition and
yet some are. When we are careless about our basic activities as Believers we
become thorn and weed growing ground. Such basic activities may include: Bible
reading and study, Prayer, Fellowship, interaction with non-believers and Holy
Communion.
