Hebrews 3:7-11.

Hebrews 3:7. Today, if the Holy Spirit says something to
us.
b)
Hebrews 3:8. We should:-
1-
Not harden our heart.
2-
Not provoke God.
3-
Overcome in the time of testing.
c)
Hebrews 3:9. We need to learn from the
Fathers, not to follow their way. They:-
1-
Tempted God.
2-
Put God to the test.
3-
Saw God’s Works for forty years.
d)
Hebrews 3:10-11. God was grieved and angry
with that generation:-
1-
They always erred in their heart.
2-
They have not known God.
3-
They shall not enter into God’s rest.

‘An Important Time.’
Genesis 4:26.
a)
After
the birth of Enosh.
b)
Then
people began at this time.
c)
To
call upon the Name of the Lord.
d)
To
make use of the Name of the Lord in Worship.
(This Second one reveals An Important Time to me)

It was after the birth of Enosh that people began to call on the
Name of the Lord and to Worship Him. When a new baby comes into a family this
precious new life often brings change. This does not just happen with the first
child, it happens with every baby born. I think that the Church needs to adapt
to this situation by providing suitable ministries and care for mothers and new
babies that makes them feel still very much a part of the Church. There is
actually so much that a Church can do. Not just providing a ‘baby room’ please!
