‘The Promise Of Entering God’s Rest.’
Hebrews 4:1.
a) There is a Promise from
God that remains.
b) It is the Promise of
entering His Rest.
c) We should have a healthy
Fear of God.
d) Then we shall not come
short of that Promise.

‘Find God In The Calm.’
1 Kings 19:11-12.
a) The Lord told Elijah to
go forth.
b) He was to go out of his
hiding place cave to its mouth.
c) He was to stand on the
mountain not in the cave.
d) A strong wind smashed the
rocks before the Lord.
e) An earthquake shook the
mountain.
f) The Lord was not in the
earthquake.
g) There came a fire, the
Lord was not in that either.
h) Elijah witnessed all
these things.
i) Then there was a still
small Voice. This was the Lord’s Voice
(This Second one encourages me to Find God In The Calm and not
in the signs)

It is those people who have Faith and the Fear of the Lord that
receive the Promises of God. There are people, even Church people, who live in
unbelief and have the fear of man instead of the Fear of the Lord. These people
will never receive the Promises of God because they do not Trust Him.
