‘They Shame The Son Of God.’
Hebrews 6:4-6.
a)        Hebrews 6:4. How can those people who abandon their Faith be brought back again to a place of repentance?
b)        Hebrews 6:4. They have formerly:-
1-       Been in God’s Light.
2-       Tasted Heaven’s Gift.
3-       Received their share of the Holy Spirit.
c)        Hebrews 6:5. They have tasted the good Word of God and the Powers of the Age to come.
d)        Hebrews 6:6. They have fallen away and abandoned their Faith.
e)        Hebrews 6:6. It is impossible to bring them back again to a place of repentance.
f)         Hebrews 6:6. They are again Crucifying the Son of God.
g)        Hebrews 6:6. They are putting the Son of God to open shame.

‘Even Apostle Paul Gave Up Hope Sometimes.’
2 Corinthians 1:8.
a)        This testimony was for the benefit of the Corinthian Church.
b)        They need to be aware of and reminded of the trouble that Apostle Paul and his team had in the Province of Asia.
c)        The burdens laid upon them were so great.
d)        The burdens laid upon them were excessive and beyond their strength.
e)        They gave up all hope of staying alive.
(This Second one tells me that Even Apostle Paul Gave Up Hope Sometimes)

How can those people who abandon their Faith be brought back again to a place of repentance? This is an impossible task for the True Believer to attempt and it seems that God does not even want that attempt to be made. Rather, in this kind of situation, God wants the True Believer to pray and to intercede for the one who has abandoned their Faith. Only God can do this work of restoration.
