It Remains For Some To Enter!



‘It Remains For Some To Enter.’
Hebrews 4:5-6.
a)       The Lord said that there would be some people who would not enter His Rest.
b)      Some people will enter God’s Rest.
c)       Some of those people who formerly had the Good News preached to them.
d)      Were not able to enter God’s Rest.
e)       Because of their disobedience to God.
(This QT reminds me that It Remains For Some To Enter God’s Rest)

‘Supplication.’
a)      Hosea 12:4. Jacob made supplication to the Angel of the Lord.
b)      1 Kings 8:28 & 30. Solomon made supplication to the Lord.
c)       1 Kings 8:54. Can be made on our knees with our arms wide open.
d)      1 Kings 9:3; Psalm 6:9. Supplication that is pure will be heard by the Lord.
e)       2 Chronicles 6:19. Supplication sometimes goes together with Prayers and cries.
f)        Psalm 28:2; 30:8; 86:6. Supplication is made with the voice.
g)      Psalm 31:22. Can be made in times of desperation.
h)      Psalm 116:1. Can increase our Love Relationship with the Lord.
i)        Luke 2:37. Can be made by elderly Praying people in Church or on the Prayer Mountain.
j)        Luke 22:32. Jesus Christ made supplication for Peter.
k)      Romans 10:1. Apostle Paul made supplication.
l)        Philippians 1:4. Can be made with Joy.
m)    Philippians 4:6. Can be made with Thanksgiving.
n)      1 Peter 3:12. The ears of the Lord are open to the supplications of Righteous People.
(Through this Second one I understand more about Supplication)

Jesus Christ made supplication for Peter. This was an amazingly personal encounter between Jesus and Peter and it reminds me of the four main parts of the Gospel. Firstly – the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Secondly - the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Thirdly – the Ascension of Jesus Christ back to the Father’s right hand in Glory. Fourthly – the on-going Intercession of Jesus Christ for us.
