Embarrassed By Transgressions!

‘Embarrassed By Transgressions.’
Isaiah 1:28-31.
a)     Isaiah 1:28. Transgressors and sinners will be crushed together.
b)     Isaiah 1:28. Those people who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
c)     Isaiah 1:29. The people will be ashamed of the oaks (idols) which they desired.
d)     Isaiah 1:29. The people will be embarrassed by the (idolatrous) gardens which they have chosen.
e)     Isaiah 1:30. The people will become like an oak tree whose leaves fade away.
f)      Isaiah 1:30. The people will become like a garden that has no water.
g)     Isaiah 1:31. The strong man and his work shall be burned together and there will be nobody to save him.
(This QT teaches me that whether it is Nations, Cities, Districts, Churches or individual people they will be Embarrassed By Transgressions, unless they seek the Lord for forgiveness)
-------------
‘Protection.’
a)     Luke 18:3 & 5. Was given to the woman by the unjust judge. (It means that being protected is a basic human right)
b)     Ecclesiastes 7:12. Wisdom is protection and it preserves people’s lives.
c)     Isaiah 27:5. God’s protection of us can be trusted.
d)     Daniel 11:1. Kings and Royalty need protection.
(Through this Second one I confess my continual need of God’s Protection)

Chris.
Those people who forsake the Lord will come to an end. This is not a threat it is just a plain fact. It is never wise or good to forsake the Lord. I receive mail sometimes from people who are tempted, for some reason or another, to forsake the Lord. I always attempt to discourage them from doing such a thing. God is Good, God is Love and God is Faithful. We have the Truth but we do not have the answer to all the questions.
