‘Avoid Defilers.’
Jude 1:8-10.
a) Jude 1:8. These people:-
1- Are dreamers.
2- Defile their flesh.
3- Reject Authorities.
4- Rail at dignities.
b) Jude 1:9. Michael the Archangel,
when disputing with the Devil in a dispute about Moses’ body, did not dare to
bring an abusive condemnation against the Devil. He simply proclaimed that the
Lord would rebuke the Devil.
c) Jude 1:10. These people
blaspheme anything that they do not understand.
d) Jude 1:10. These people
are like animals that cannot reason and they destroy themselves.
(This QT reminds me to
Avoid Defilers)
‘Responding To The Old
Testament Jesus.’
(The Angel of the
Lord)
Exodus 23:21.
a) We should:-
1- Take heed before Him.
2- Be attentive to Him.
3- Listen to His Voice.
4- Not provoke Him.
5- Not defy Him.
b) He will not simply pardon
our transgressions or acts of rebellion.
c) The Name of the Lord is
in Him.
(This Second one teaches me about Responding To The Old
Testament Jesus; I thank God for the work of Grace at Calvary in the New
Testament)
Chris.
The Old Testament People of God were encouraged to listen to the
Voice of the Lord. There were various ways in which God spoke to His People in
the Old Testament and there are additional ways in which He may speak to us
today. It is a good exercise for us to search the Scriptures and see how God
speaks to His People today.
