‘We
Should Not Sin Wilfully.’
Hebrews
10:26-27.
a) We can only sin
wilfully after we have received the Knowledge of the Truth.
b) If we sin
wilfully there remains no more sacrifice for sins.
c) Those people
who sin wilfully have a certain fearful expectation of Judgment.
d) Those people who
sin wilfully also have a fear of the fierceness of fire which devours God’s
adversaries.
(This QT
strongly reminds me that I Should Not Sin Wilfully)
‘Elders And
Church Overseers.’
Titus 1:8.
a) Should be
hospitable.
b) Should be
lovers of good.
c) Should be sober
minded.
d) Should be
discreet.
e) Should be just.
f) Should be holy.
g) Should be self-controlled.
(This Second
one teaches me about how God wants Elders And Church Overseers to be)
Chris.
The
expectation of Judgment must surely be a very terrifying thing. The
non-believer usually has no such expectation they do not know God or His Word.
For the person who has sinned wilfully, as Judas Iscariot did, they will surely
have this tormenting expectation of Judgment)
