A Wise And Understanding Person!



‘A Wise And Understanding Person.’
Proverbs 1:5.
a)      Hears.
b)      Increases learning.
c)       Attains the ability to receive and then give wise counsel.
(This QT teaches me about A Wise And Understanding Person)

‘Countenance.’
a)      Revelation 1:16. The Countenance of the Glorified Lord shines like the sun in its full strength.
b)      Genesis 4:5; Proverbs 25:23. Falls when we are angry.
c)       Genesis 31:5. Can change toward another person.
d)      Deuteronomy 28:50. Sometimes people of an entire Nation have fierce countenances.
e)       1 Samuel 16:7. Does not determine the Will of God.
f)        1 Samuel 16:12; 17:42. David had a beautiful countenance.
g)       1 Samuel 25:3. Abigail had a beautiful countenance.
h)      2 Samuel 14:27. Tamar had a fair countenance.
i)        Nehemiah 2:3; Job 9:27. May be sad.
j)        Daniel 5:9; 7:28. May change when we become deeply troubled.
k)      Daniel 8:23. Sometimes kings have a fierce countenance.
l)        Matthew 6:16. People who fast hypocritically have a sad countenance.
(This Second one reminds me of the message that my Countenance gives)

To hear another person is always wise. We may have no idea about a certain matter but when we hear what the other person says we gain some information and understanding. When we have wrong or incorrect ideas then we should be open to people that show us the right concept – we should hear them.
