(This QT reveals to me A Victorious
Sacrifice)
‘A Stolen Blessing.’
Genesis 27:33-34.
a)
Jacob stole Esau’s birth right Blessing.
b)
Isaac was shaken when he heard this news – he was
old and blind already.
c)
This Blessing could not be taken back.
d)
Esau cried a bitter cry because of what had
happened.
e)
Esau also sought Blessing from his father. (He
was given a meagre one)
(This Second one shows me the pain that is caused by A
Stolen Blessing)
Chris.
Jacob stole Esau’s birth right Blessing. It was the
Blessing intended for Esau but Jacob stole it. This situation does not and
cannot happen today except in very evil and competitive families. There are,
however other situations where Blessings
are stolen, especially in ministry and Church situations. What God intends for
certain people is secretly taken away from them. Promises made are broken. So
the list goes on. Let us have no part in deceiving and stealing Blessings.
