‘Samson’s Strength
Had Gone.’
Judges 16:20-22.
a) Judges 16:20. Samson was sleeping. Delilah,
unbeknown to Samson had cut off his strength. (His hair)
b) Judges 16:20. Delilah awoke Samson and warned
him that the Philistines were upon him.
c) Judges 16:20. When Samson woke up he thought
that he could just break every chain and walk free but the Lord had gone from
him.
d) Judges 16:21. The Philistines:-
1- Laid hold on Samson.
2- Put out his eyes.
3- Brought Samson down
to Gaza.
4- Bound him with
fetters of brass.
5- Made him a grinder
in the prison house.
e)
Judges 16:22. Samson’s hair
began to grow again.

‘The Son Of Man
Lifted Up.’
John 3:14-15.
a) Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness.
b) Even so the Son of Man must be lifted up. (On
the Cross)
c) Everyone who believes in the Son of Man.
d) May have Eternal Life.
(This Second one
makes me grateful to God for The Son Of Man Lifted Up)

The Philistines were
able to lay hold on Samson because his strength was gone. We need to have good
Fellowship with people whom we trust in our times of weakness. With God’s help
and trusted friends we can come through.
