‘Four
Impossibilities.’
Isaiah 10:15.
a)
The axe cannot vaunt itself over the one who
yields it.
b)
The saw cannot magnify itself against the one
who handles it.
c)
The rod cannot raise the one who lifts it up.
d)
The wooden staff cannot lift the one who is
not wood.
(This QT shows me
Four Impossibilities and reminds me how much I need God!)
‘A Life And Ministry
Saving Encounter With God.’
1 Kings 19:5-14.
a)
1 Kings 19:5-7. God sent an Angel to give food
and drink to the discouraged Elijah. (God still had a plan for Elijah’s life)
b)
1 Kings 19:8. Elijah got up and went on a long
journey to Horeb, the mount of God. (God did not actually tell him to go there)
c)
1 Kings 19:9. Elijah came to the mount of God
and lodged in a cave there.
d)
1 Kings 19:9. The Word of the Lord came to
Elijah and asked him what he was doing there.
e)
1 Kings 19:10 & 14. Elijah’s sob story,
but he was believing the wrong things.
f)
1 Kings 19:11-12. God told Elijah to go and
stand at the mouth of the cave. There was: -
1-A terrific wind.
2-An earthquake.
3-A fire.
g)
1 Kings 19:12. God was not in these things.
h)
1 Kings 19:12-13. Then there was a calm and
still small Voice, that was God. Elijah came out and stood at the entrance of
the cave. Again the Word of the Lord came to Elijah and asked him what he was
doing there.
(This Second one reveals to
me A Life And Ministry Saving Encounter With God)
Chris.
God delights in manifesting His Salvation in every way. We read
above of how God Saved the life and Ministry of Elijah. The great prophet of
God had fallen into fear. He thought he had disqualified himself from being the
Servant of the Lord and just wanted to die. Our Great and Loving God Saved his
life and Ministry.
