It Is Christ Who Makes Us Holy!

‘It Is Christ Who Makes Us Holy.
Hebrews 10:5-10.
a)               Hebrews 10:5. When Christ came into the World, speaking to the Father, He said that the Father did not want sacrifices and offerings but had prepared a body for Him.
b)               Hebrews 10:6. Christ said that the Father did not ask for burnt offerings and offerings to take away sins.
c)               Hebrews 10:7. Christ said that:-
1-               He had come.
2-              It was written about Him in the Book.
3-              He said to God that He had come to do what He (God) wanted.
d)               Hebrews 10:8. God did not want sacrifices and offerings to take away sins. These were all sacrifices that the Law commands.
e)               Hebrews 10:9. Jesus said to the Father that He had come to do what the Father wanted.
f)                 Hebrews 10:9. God ends the first system of sacrifices so that He can set up the new system.
g)               Hebrews 10:10. In this new system we are made Holy through the Sacrifice of Christ made in His Body once for all time.
(Through this QT I am confident that It Is Christ Who Makes Me Holy)

‘Let Us Be Holy Priests.’
1 Peter 2:5.
a)               We are like living stones.
b)               We should allow ourselves to be used to build a spiritual temple.
c)               We should be Holy Priests who offer spiritual sacrifices to God.
d)               God will accept those sacrifices through Jesus Christ.
(Through this Second one my heart calls out: Let Me Be A Holy Priest)

Chris.
Jesus said to God that He had come to do what He (God) wanted. This is very challenging to me. Can I or do I have the same desire and will as Jesus in this matter. Every True Believer should be able to say that they are here to do what God wants. Through His Word and by the Holy Spirit God will surely guide us if our real attitude is that we want to do what He wants.
