‘Abel Still Speaks
To Us.’
Hebrews 11:4.
a)
By Faith Abel offered to God a more excellent
and acceptable offering than Cain.
b)
Through this offering Abel received approval
from God as to his being righteous.
c)
Abel died but through his faith he still
speaks to us.

that Abel still speaks to me)

Elijah.’
1 Kings 19:16-21.
a)
1 Kings 19:16. He was to be a king maker.
b)
1 Kings 19:16. He was to anoint Elisha as the
Prophet for the next generation.
c)
1 Kings 19:17. He was promised future victories.
d)
1 Kings 19:18. There were still seven thousand
faithful Believers in Israel who had not bowed to Baal.
e)
1 Kings 19:19. Elijah went and found busy
Elisha and threw his prophet’s mantle over him. (God usually uses people whose
lives are full)
f)
1 Kings 19:20. Elisha:-
1-
Ran after Elijah.
2-
Sought permission to
go and say ‘good bye’ to his family first, then follow Elijah.
3-
Got that permission
from Elijah.
g)
1 Kings 19:21. Then Elisha gave a feast to his
family and friends.
h)
1 Kings 19:21. Elisha:-

Then arose.
2-
Went after Elijah.
3-
Became Elijah’s
servant.

Abel still speaks to me. His Message to me is firstly about Faith.
Abel, by Faith, offered a better and more valuable offering to God than Cain.
Secondly, Abel speaks to me about steadfast Faithfulness, he was wanting to
please God whatever it cost.
