Isaiah 10:5; Deuteronomy 29:28. God may use
Nations to fulfil the outworking of His indignation.
b)
Nehemiah 4:1. Sometimes when people persecute
True Believers they do it with anger and indignation.
c)
Esther 5:9. Sometimes pride can cause a person
to be full of indignation.
d)
Psalm 7:11; 69:24; 78:49. Sometimes God has
indignation.
e)
Psalm 38:3. Sometimes our sickness may be
caused by God’s Indignation.
f)
Psalm 85:4. We can Pray for God to stop
manifesting His indignation.
g)
Psalm 119:53. We may have indignation because
of wicked people who reject God’s Word.
h)
Nahum 1:6. No one can stand against God’s
indignation.
i)
Malachi 1:4. The Lord’s indignation, in some
cases, may last forever.
j)
Matthew 26:8. Sometimes our indignation is
misplaced.
k)
Mark 10:14. Jesus was moved with indignation
because of injustice towards children.

1 Kings 17:8-16.
a)
1 Kings 17:8. The Word of the Lord came to Elijah.
b)
1 Kings 17:9. At the time of famine the Lord
told Elijah to go to Zarepheth, Sidon and dwell there. The Lord had already
prepared a widow to look after Elijah there.
c)
1 Kings 17:10. Elijah went and met a widow gathering
sticks at the gate of Zarepheth. Elijah asked her for a drink of water.
d)
1 Kings 17:11. Elijah also called to her and
asked her to bring him bread.
e)
1 Kings 17:12. The woman was preparing a final
simple meal for herself and her son before they died. She had nothing left.
f)
1 Kings 17:13. Elijah told her not to fear but
to make him bread and afterwards make food for her son and herself.
g)
1 Kings 17:14. Elijah brought her the Word of
the Lord. There was going to be enough for her to eat until the Lord sent rain.
h)
1 Kings 17:15. The widow obeyed what Elijah
said and there was food for many days.
i)
1 Kings 17:16. The Word of the Lord came to
pass. The widow and her son had enough to eat and Elijah also had enough to
eat.

Sometimes when we are challenged to take steps of Faith we are
afraid. I think that is normal, especially in situations like the widow whom we
read about above. We need encouragement to take the steps of Faith and then we
find that the Word of the Lord is True.
