I have been in
several earthquakes of varied degrees of strength. This is not the place for my
earthquake stories. I would rather say that God sends earthquakes for a purpose.
One of the purposes of earthquakes is to call people to Himself. When we are in
an earthquake we realise that all we have is God Himself. We are absolutely
powerless to do anything about the earthquake when we are in it apart from
making ourselves a ‘safe’ place if we are indoors.
