‘When The Lord Gives Us Rest.’
Isaiah 14:3-6.
a)
Isaiah 14:3. This rest is from:-
1-
Pain.
2-
Trouble.
3-
Hard labour.
b)
Isaiah 14:4. Then we can proclaim the
Victory:-
1-
The oppressor has ceased.

The one who crushed other people
has fallen and his anger has ended.
c)
Isaiah 14:5. The Lord takes away the authority
of evil people and has broken the power of tyrant rulers.
d)
Isaiah 14:6. These tyrant leaders, in their
anger:-
1-
Struck Nations down.
2-
Their blows never stopped.
3-
They ruled Nations with anger and
aggression.

(This Second one encourages me to be Following Jesus)
Chris.
When the oppressor has ceased then we can proclaim the Victory. The
oppressor has all kinds of masks from International down to individual. Only
the Lord can give us the Victory over the oppressor. The oppressor is more
powerful than us but the Lord is more powerful than the oppressor.
