‘Hosanna.’
Matthew 21:9.
a)
There were crowds in front of and behind Jesus
as He walked along towards Jerusalem.
b)
The crowds were shouting.
c)
They proclaimed three things as they shouted:-
1-
Hosanna to the Son of David.
2-
Blessed is He Who comes in the
Name of the Lord.
3-
Hosanna in the highest Heaven.
(This Morning because of this QT I want to proclaim Hosanna)
‘Live Close To The Lord.’
Philippians 1:27-30.
a)
Philippians 1:27; Ephesians 4:1. Our manner of
life should be worthy of the Gospel of Christ. That means:-
1-
We live consistently even when our
Leaders are not around.
2-
1 Corinthians 16:13; Philippians
2:2. We stand firm in one Spirit and one mind.
3-
We strive side by side for the
Faith of the Gospel.
b)
Philippians 1:28. We need not be afraid of our
opponents. Then the opponents will understand about their destruction and our
Gift of Salvation from God.
c)
Philippians 1:29; Acts 14:22. We not only
Believe in Christ but we may also suffer for His sake.
d)
Philippians 1:30. There may be conflicts with
those people who do not like the Gospel but we go on with the Lord.
(This Second one calls me to Live Close To The Lord)

The crowds were shouting. At this time they were shouting
Hosanna and Praises to Jesus. More or less the same crowd, not long afterwards
were shouting again. This time they were shouting that they chose Jesus to be crucified.
The shouting of crowds is so often a vain thing. We should not pay too much
attention to shouting crowds.
