We all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected
them for it. An emotionally healthy father will discipline his children in
love. It will break his heart to have to discipline his children because he
loves them so much. Dysfunctional fathers either try to avoid disciplining
their children or they discipline their children in a cruel way. We need to
Pray for the fathers in our Churches to be, or to become, emotionally healthy.
