Jesus Christ Revealed!


‘Jesus Christ Revealed.’
Isaiah 11:1-5.
a)        Isaiah 11:1. He comes as a shoot from the stump of Jesse.
b)        Isaiah 11:1. He comes as the Branch to bear fruit.
c)        Isaiah 11:2. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. The Spirit of:-
1-       Wisdom and Understanding.
2-       Counsel and Might.
3-       Knowledge and Reverential and Obedient Fear of the Lord.
d)        Isaiah 11:3. His delight shall be in the Fear of the Lord.
e)        Isaiah 11:3. He shall not Judge by what His eyes see.
f)          Isaiah 11:3. He shall not decide disputes by what His ears hear.
g)        Isaiah 11:4. With Righteousness He shall Judge the poor people.
h)        Isaiah 11:4. He shall decide with equity for the meek people of the Earth.
i)          Isaiah 11:4. He shall strike the Earth with the rod of His Mouth and He shall kill the wicked people.
j)          Isaiah 11:5. Righteousness shall be the girdle of His waist and Faithfulness the girdle of His loins.

2 Corinthians 2:14.
a)        We give thanks to God.
b)        God in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession.
c)        We are trophies of Christ’s Victory.
d)        Through us God spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.
(Through this Second one I always want to follow The Leader Of The Procession)

The Bible exhorts us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. There are so many aspects of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Firstly, there are the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. What a Blessing we receive when we can taste the Fruit of the Holy Spirit from the lives of other True Believers. Secondly, there are the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, given to edify the Church. Finally, here I want to mention the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Knowledge and Reverential and Obedient Fear of the Lord.
