‘The Lord Is For Us.’
Isaiah 11:10.
a)
He is the Root of Jesse.
b)
He is an Ensign for all
peoples.
c)
Of Him shall the Nations
enquire and seek Knowledge.
d)
His Dwelling shall be
Glory.
e)
His Rest shall be
Glorious.
(Through this QT I am encouraged: The Lord Is For Me)
‘First Steps Into God’s Kingdom.’
John 3:5.
a)
These are the solemn
Words of Jesus Christ.
b)
Except a person is born
of water and of the Spirit. (Meaning natural birth and spiritual birth)
c)
That person cannot enter
the Kingdom of God.
(This
Second one shows me the First Steps Into God’s Kingdom)
Chris.
His
Rest shall be Glorious. There are two thoughts that I have as I read this
Scripture. Firstly, when we come to Christ with all of our heavy burdens and
let Him unload us of them then we can experience, according to His Promise,
rest. Secondly, when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour He gives
us Eternal Life, we begin to enter His Rest and the fulfilment of that rest is
in Eternity.
