‘A Worthless And Rejected Branch.’
Isaiah 14:18-20.
a)
Isaiah 14:18. All of the kings of the Earth
lie down and are remembered with honour.
b)
Isaiah 14:19. The king of Babylon is cast away
from his own grave. He:-
1-
Is like a worthless and rejected
branch.
2-
Is covered by the dead people.
3-
Is covered by those people who are
pierced by the sword.
4-
Is with those people who go down
to the stony pit like a corpse brough in from the battle field.
c)
Isaiah 14:20. The king of Babylon wrecked his
own land and killed his own people.
d)
Isaiah 14:20. The king of Babylon’s offspring
shall never be mentioned again.
(This QT shows me A Worthless
And Rejected Branch)
‘Not To Within But From
Within.’
Mark 7:21.
a)
These things come from within.
b)
They come out from the human heart.
c)
They are:-
1-
Evil thoughts.
2-
Sexual immorality.
3-
Theft.
4-
Murder.
5-
Adultery.
(Through this Second one I am reminded Not To Within But From
Within)
Chris.
This must have been so humiliating for the family of the king of
Babylon and also the people of Babylon. Their king was cast away from his own
grave. That is a most disrespectful and humiliating thing to happen. It shows
us what a hated man he was. He wrecked his land and he killed his people.
Wherever we live we should be praying earnestly for the Leaders of that Nation.
