11:8-10.

Hebrews 11:8. Abraham:-

Was
Called by God.
2-
Obeyed
God.
3-
Went
forth in God’s Name.
b)
Hebrews 11:8. Abraham went to the place that
he was destined to receive as an inheritance.
c)
Hebrews 11:8. Abraham left for a country that
he had never seen.
d)
Hebrews 11:9. Abraham had Faith and he lived
as a stranger and temporary resident in the land that was the Promised Land.
e)
Hebrews 11:9. Abraham lived in a tent with
Isaac and Jacob who were both given the same Promise as Abraham.
f)
Hebrews 11:10. Abraham did this because he was
waiting expectantly and confidently for the Eternal City that God had planned
and built.

God’s Spirit gives us a calm and well balanced
mind.

Abraham went forth in God’s
Name. He was not just doing something that he wanted to do. This was not some
unfulfilled ‘vision’ or dream. Abraham manifested total obedience to God and
God rewarded his Faith.
