‘Abraham’s Faith Tested.’
Hebrews 11:17-19.
a)
Hebrews 11:17. Abraham,
when his Faith was being tested by God, brought his son Isaac as an offering.
b)
Hebrews 11:17. Abraham
had gladly received God’s Promises and now he was offering his son Isaac to
God.
c)
Hebrews 11:18. God had
already said the Abraham’s Seed would be traced through Isaac.
d)
Hebrews 11:19. Abraham
considered God to be able to raise someone from the dead, and as an
illustration he received him back. (Isaac was potentially sacrificed and
Abraham received him back from the ‘dead’)

God
had already said that Abraham’s Seed would be traced through Isaac. This was a clear statement of God. When God says something, He means it, even though it
may seem an impossibility to us. This is where our faith comes into action and
it may be even tested, but we should keep Trusting and Believing God.
